This week's episode with Caleb Lawson on leathercraft, gay cowboys, and growing up as a rural gay is such a treat. Caleb works at Tandy Leather on 28th St. in Grand Rapids, MI on the side of his passion creating leather pieces geared towards queer men. We dive into what it takes to start leather-working or really any other kind of artistic pursuit. Caleb gets vunerable and shares what it was like growing up in a Christian fundamentalist cult in Western Michigan, being a queer man. We learn where he draws his inspiration for his music as well as his leather-working craft.
