EP #4 Cockroach and Candy Sticks

Marie casually invites Sam to Costa Rica, and somehow she said yes without asking a single follow-up question (character growth?). First trip together, why not go big and make it international? What was supposed to be a super chill with a mix of home-style food, had it's surprise chaos. Between Marie juggling a sick baby, Sam nursing the world’s quickest hangover, and the two of them meeting a cockroach that would have applied for citizenship (Spoiler Alert: it didn't because it's DEAD), the trip was equal parts calm and catastrophe. Still, there were laughs, snacks, and moments that made it worth every hiccup. AKA the perfect recipe for an episode of Let’s Overthink This Later, and most importantly it led to more planned trips in the future.

EP #1 Hot Takes & Unfiltered Opinions

Welcome to the chaos. In this debut episode, we rip the band-aid off with spicy opinions, unsolicited advice, and absolutely no filters. From friendship rants to pop culture judgments—we said what we said. If you're new here, prepare for whiplash. If you know us? Buckle up...oh and Hi MOM!!! Articles we mention:  https://nypost.com/2024/11/28/lifestyle/why-farting-in-front-of-your-partner-is-good-for-relationship/ https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/in-excess/201602/eproctophilia-explained SUMMARY In this inaugural episode of 'Let's Overthink This Later,' hosts Rie and Sammy dive into the world of pop culture, celebrity gossip, and the intricacies of dating and marriage. They discuss the Kardashians, Taylor Swift's new romance, and the expectations surrounding first dates. The conversation flows into deeper topics such as emotional labor in relationships, the importance of communication during disagreements, and the balance of privacy and transparency in marriage. They also touch on the impact of social media on perceptions of relationships, emphasizing that social media is often a curated highlight reel rather than reality. Takeaways: The Kardashians provide entertainment despite their controversial fame. Celebrity relationships often spark curiosity and speculation. First date expectations can vary, but transparency is key. Emotional labor in marriage should be shared equally. Silence can be beneficial during disagreements, but communication is essential. Privacy in marriage is important, but secrets can be detrimental. Social media often presents an unrealistic view of relationships. It's okay to go to bed angry sometimes; take time to cool off. Transparency in relationships fosters trust and understanding. Navigating social media can impact mental health and relationship dynamics.
