A Touching Tribute
Things get serious on this episode of “Let’s talk about it”. Talking about death and grief is not something people want to talk about but is still something we all need to handle. Terry and Ashley took a back seat to their ‘mover and shaker’ Beth Hanzes, a mother who unexpectedly lost her child. With the love and compassion that she holds in her heart, she uses her own grief journey to assist others by starting a non-profit, Ryan’s Tribute. The love she has for her son and others is humbling. Tune in to hear her inspirational journey and find out more about her non-profit.

Parenting is an Evolution
Parenting doesn’t come with a rulebook but Terry and Ashley talk about their different parenting styles, and what it’s like growing up with your children. They bring on ‘mover and shaker’ Maura Miller from A Child’s Place. Mora talks about the programs their group discussions, child advocacy, and their various programing. But when it all comes down to it, parenting should be lead with kindness. Kindness to your children and to yourself in whatever role you fill.

Igniting Hope
On this episode of Let’s Talk About It, Terry and Ashley dive into a surprising realization about artificial Intelligence. This weeks “Mover and Shaker” is Fayette County Jail Warden, John Lenkey. Warden Lenkey talks about his motivation to keep bettering himself and how that effects his inmates. He also talks about the newly launched IGNITE Program to help lower recidivism and better the lives of the inmates once they are released from their sentencing. This is an extra reminder that people who once were criminals can change their whole lives with just a little kindness.

Building It From The Ground Floor
On this week’s episode Terry and Ashley talk about stress and how they center themselves, but not before Ashley got so stressed she forgot the name of the show. We have mover and shaker Aaron Zolbrod on to talk about his role in starting One Voice One Community, and how he has been making the difference in lives in Fayette County! Aaron is the embodiment of being kind, making sure his mission is always focused on the people.

Be Paul Kind
On Episode 6 of “Let’s Talk About It” Ashley brings in her husband Paul to talk about two disability groups. Paul Howes is a disabled Veteran and a father to an adult on the Autism Spectrum. Both disabilities are sometimes not as noticeable at first glance, which reminds us to be kind all of the time! Terry and Rick both end up loving Paul by the end of the show because of his calm and kind character. Listen in to learn how you can be Paul kind!

Krupa talks about being the only current female elected official in the area, while honoring those women who ran before her, dating back 100 years! Positivity In, Positivity Out!
On this Episode of Let’s Talk About It, Terry and Ashley discuss the power and possibility of breaking generational trauma. Reminding the listeners that even though you may start out on a difficult path, with hard work, determination, and drive you can make the life you want to live. Ashley talks a little more about her trauma and how she has used her difficult past to help guide others to the life they deserve. Terry drops some nuggets of knowledge to live by. And as always, we end with a reminder to be kind. Sometimes your kindness may be the only good someone else hears, so be genuine in your actions.

Black History month kicks off with “Mover and Shaker”, Shujuane Martin. She once lived the same path as the people she helps as the President and CEO of the Private Industry Council.
