What is a Talkbox? How Does it Work? The “talk box” is a unique "Computerized Digital" effect that allows you to modify an audio signal — most commonly used with a keyboard synthesizer— using the player's mouth, with a plastic tube, as a filter to sing, talk or shape the sound. The talk box itself consists of a box, in which has a BUILT IN speaker (feeds into a plastic tube, that runs into a keyboard.. its harder to play, than it appears , it takes lots of practice and dedication in order to actually perfect it. Here is Mr No Weapon's exact response "I'm 6' 3", a woman approached me while walking in Walmart and she was shorter than myself, she looked me up and down as if to undress me with her eyes and said, "I bet I flip you upside down!" I laughed as I kept walking but months later, I wrote a song about it encounter but changed to the situation to a man's point of view and titled it "Can I Flip You Upside Down". The name Mr No Weapon was created after he suffered a broken femur due to an Motorcycle accident that happened April 22. 2012 so he connected with the Bible Verse Isaiah 54:17.
