Poe became unhoused at approximately 10 years old according to what little information can be found about him. At the tender age of 21 his life was taken and law enforcement are still looking for persons of interest in his case. “Knives” was last seen in Oregon and fled Slab City with Poe Blacks lover before either of them could be questioned in regards to Poe’s homicide.
