Life Happens - An Audio Series

As school draws to a close for the holidays, Ryan Feller (Deo Trinidad), Alyssa Moore (Amber Barile), Austin Pierce (Justin Savi) & Sydney Sellers (Ciara Payne) head to Canada to celebrate with Sydney's uncle (Charles Morton)! But with Sydney off writing and Ryan being a Scrooge, the season may not turn out as jolly as they'd hoped...

In this, the season finale, Alyssa (Amber Barile) has managed to help the council plan the fundraiser. Now, it's time to organize and build it. However, even more problems arise due to Ellie (Bree Frankel)'s poor leadership and inefficiency, and her continuously butting heads with Heather (Rayann Liboon). It's because of all this that Alyssa finds out why the previous vice president left the student council and why Ellie acts the way she does. Now that she's found the root of the problem, she aims to do everything she can to save Primrose High and its student council. Will Alyssa get things done in time, or is this fundraiser doomed to fail?

Alyssa (Amber Barile) has her work cut out for her. After being elected student vice president, she attends her first council meeting with student president Ellie (Bree Frankel), class representative Heather (Rayann Liboon), treasurer James (Austin Griffith), historian Mark (Charles Morton), and secretary Ben (Jason Smith). However, plenty of problems present themselves over the coming days. Ellie's unrealistic expectations, her constant bickering with Heather and Principal Baker (Dave Lanzafame)'s reckless decisions make Alyssa's job even harder than it already is. How will Alyssa be able to help her school before the impending deadline?

After a grueling exam week, Ryan (Deo Trinidad) treats his friends to a trip to Citrus Gardens. He and Alyssa (Amber Barile) can't wait to ride the roller coasters! Austin (Justin Savi), on the other hand, is terrified of them... Sydney (Ciara Payne) sees this as a way to outwit him. Except for one problem: she's just as afraid of them. Austin and Sydney are dead set on winning their bet, even at their own risk.

Primrose High’s football team has never lost a game thanks to their star quarterback: Bryce Andrews (Darren Rambles). However, their star player is also the school’s dumbest student. When Coach Callahan (Brady Lane) informs Bryce of his abysmal grades, the star player only has 2 months to turn things around, or else he’ll be kicked off the team. There might just be someone who can help him: Ryan Feller (Deo Trinidad), the school’s top honor roll student. Can Primrose High’s smartest get through to the school’s dumbest?

Sydney Sellers (Ciara Payne) gets the chance to become popular when the wealthy Madison Ayers (Anna Kate Hindman), Primrose High’s most popular student, takes her under her wing. However, this converts Sydney into a snobby mean girl and turns her against all of her friends. Can Ryan (Deo Trinidad), Alyssa (Amber Barile) and Austin (Justin Savi) get the old Sydney back?

While Alyssa is busy planning her election campaign with Ryan, Austin Pierce (Justin Savi) typically spends every day after school playing video games, usually against his arch-rival Thegamerguy27 (Deo Trinidad). His father (Cameron Raleigh) sees this as a waste of time and demands that Austin get a job. If he doesn't find one by the end of the weekend, his dad will kick him out of the house. Can Austin find a job by the end of the weekend?

With the school's dire budget crisis weighing down on Primrose High, Alyssa (Amber Barile) convinces Principal Baker (Dave Lanzafame) to hold an emergency election to fill in the recently-vacated spot of student council vice president. With only 9 days till election day, Alyssa enlists a little help from Ryan (Deo Trinidad) to craft her campaign. Pinned up against her fierce rival, Megan Williams (Rebecca Danae); can Alyssa gain the trust of Primrose High's student body in time?

In the pilot episode of Life Happens, join Alyssa (Amber Barile), Austin (Justin Savi), Ryan (Deo Trinidad) and Sydney (Ciara Payne) as they begin their freshman year at Primrose High! Alyssa tries to make a good first impression as she finds out about the school's dire budget crisis; Austin tries to “think positively” and make a new start at Primrose High; Ryan tries to expand his social horizons; and Sydney’s elf cosplay attracts quite an... appreciative audience.

“Life Happens”‌ is a comedy audio-drama series inspired by slice-of-life anime, with a western twist. Set in the fictional Primrose Heights, the series follows four teenagers as they begin their freshman year at Primrose High. Austin, Alyssa, Ryan and Sydney face challenges as they adjust to high school; from getting their first jobs, to running for student council vice-president, to attending their first school dance, to figuring out what cosplay to wear to school tomorrow.‌
