Life. Because Of New Medicines.
by Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association
New medicines can be life changing for people in Ireland. IPHA’s ‘Life. Because of New Medicines’ podcast series brings patients and industry representatives together, to hear how innovation and new medicines can literally change the trajectory of someone’s life. The podcasts document the personal stories from patients who, because of new medicines, were able to experience moments in their lives which otherwise wouldn’t have been possible. We’ll discuss the moments and experiences made possible, and why everyone in Ireland should have fast and fair access to the latest treatments available. The episodes, featuring four international biopharmaceutical companies with a presence in Ireland, centre around: Pfizer’s work towards the cancer moonshot goal and how clinical trials can accelerate these breakthroughs. Novo Nordisk’s has a long history in the development of medicines to treat chronic disease. Roc
