S2E10: The REST of the Story

We were made to move and go and work and do. But the only way we can accomplish all of those things is if we take the time to prioritize proper rest in the process. In this episode, we look at some principles from the book "Built to Move" by Kelly and Juliet Starrett in their chapter on sleep and unleashing your superpower. In this world that focused on performance and productivity, sleep is often underutilized. But sleep is what often times holds the key to higher productivity during our waking hours. S2E9: Who's in the Driver's Seat?

One of the primary decisions to figure out is who or what is determining the direction you are going. Who is driving your car on this journey through life? Who is in the driver's seat? God wants control of every area of our life. That's not just for the sake of having control, but it's so that He can use and bless every area of our life. In this episode, we look at different areas that people tend to hold on to control for themselves. My prayer is that God will help you see areas that you can let go of today so that God can use and bless you in those areas. S2E7: Roots & Fruits

Right now, everything in the world points to the external.  We celebrate records, numbers, times, accomplishments, achievements, wins, and dollars.  Those are all things that we can see, measure, and compare.  And you might think, “what’s wrong with that?  It’s been working for us.  If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”  I would argue that the system of only looking on the outside is broken.  That’s taking the easy way out.  Anyone can see the external results.  That’s the fruit. We can all see the fruit, but it’s much harder to see the root.  We can’t easily see what’s really happening inside someone. We can see a change in their actions, but it’s difficult to notice what is really happening to cause those changes.  In this episode, we look at how to take a deep internal look at yourself or at others to learn how to celebrate the wins that matter the most.

    S2E6: The Biblical Man

There are a lot of opinions about how men are supposed to look or act. We all have our own definition about what "manly" really is. Society says one thing, families say another, and churches say something else. What's the right answer? In this episode, we take a look at what the Bible says about men. The standards are high, but this is a challenge all men should take on. It's not easy, but no one said it would be.

    S2E5: The GOAT

We all look up to the G.O.A.T.S (Greatest Of All Time) in different sports. There's just something about the elite that inspire us to dream about what's possible. Could we be the greatest at something? Believe it or not, the answer is YES! You have greatness inside of you! In this episode, we look at how to become the best. It isn't easy, but it is within your reach. Don't settle for average or mediocre when you can be the best!

    S2E4: Get CUT!

The days are getting longer, spring is right around the corner, and now is the time to get cut! Whether you're building muscle, training for races, or just trying to lose a few pounds, now is the time to start cutting off extra weight so we can be our best in the months ahead. "Get cut" means different things to different people, but there's still the same basic meaning: getting rid of what is unnecessary to be your best. In this episode, we look at how to get cut, not just physically, but in all areas of life. You'll learn how to be fitter, faster, and more efficient to help you reach your ultimate potential.

S2E3: The Power of the Mind

Your mind is typically your greatest limiting factor. Success or failure is decided in your mind. It sounds easy to just decide to stay committed to the end, but it's incredibly difficult to develop a strong and resilient mind. In this episode, BJ shares tips for how to improve your mindset to overcome worry and anxiety in order to walk in victory. Update: We're now on YouTube! S2E2: Secular vs Sacred

In life, we tend to group things into our secular (physical, work) life and our sacred (spiritual, church) life. There's nothing necessarily wrong with that, but there can be real benefit in bringing the two together. In this episode, I look back at my mix of secular and ministry jobs to show how the two can and should mix. There are lessons I learned from full-time ministry that can help every follower of Christ improve their own spiritual lives. But there are also lessons I learned in the secular workplace that can help ministers improve their ministries. We grow stronger in every area when we let the sacred invade the secular parts of our lives. For more information about our mission or business, visit our website at liveforeternity.life

Time is our most precious resource. Once you spend it, it's gone. That causes many of us to rush so we can make the most of the time we have.
