    Livid Cheese - Dasht-e Lut

'Azadi' is Farsi and means FREEDOM. There is an Azadi Tower in Tehran which the Shah build. It is the architecture u see in the cover. The Shah built it for the 2500 year anniversary of Persia in the 70s. That makes Persia/Iran kinda 10x as old as the USA. On my travels I met through the interface of countless people a deep, sophisticated, respectable culture, with a beautiful country that sadly is so utterly casted out of the international community. I hope to soon see a world, where the 93 million Iranians find a proper place in, without being a puppet of any greedy superpower. In 2017 I travelled to Iran for 3 months. It was gorgeous to say the least. The coutnry welcomed me with open arms and wherever I went, people took care of me like I was part of there family. Quite literally. I even went to several weddings. I recently found these 3 tunes on my hard drive. Productions that I produced on my Laptop while travelling around back then. Oh man. It is not easy to produce on the road. I had a 2x2 Focusrite in my bag and in Tehran. I used it to record Amin, a courchsurf host of just my age who dreamed of also traveling abroad... and being a rock star... at least that's how he slammed that guitar... Dasht-e Lut is the hottest desert of the region, I hitchhiked through it at some point. Qalat is an old mountain village near Shiraz, and they totally don't happen grow the best stash of the entire country there. Anyways, recent political events urged me to dust off these tracks and put them online Better 9 years late then never. Free Iran from those lunatics who try to colonize it.

Piper & Arwhne - Space Time (Livid Cheese Remix)

So there was this song 'Space Time' two homies from my hometown Bautzen made. I had already heard it in several sets by Moonchild (arwnhe's other alias) before I realized that he and another friend made it. The melody of the original is objectively pretty intriguing, so I asked him for the stems. I came up with a liquid drum and bass version of the track. Enjoy the ride :) Enjoy the gorgeous original as well btw: https://soundcloud.com/arwhne/piper-arwhne-spacetime
