Episode 12: What I Wish Someone Told Me About OCD Recovery (Faking It Till We Make It)
This is the part when I'm so thrilled to share the parts of my recovery that there was no manual for and I had to trial and error it on my own. The beginning of the start of the best year of my life yet. Please let this be your guiding force if you are going through it and there are certain systems telling you that there is only one way to recover from ocd/ anxiety. \Feeling so compelled to share because if I had not advocated for myself, trusted my instincts even when that felt muddy and switched things up, I probably wouldnt be this version of me here today. There are many different treatment forms (ERP,ICBT,ACT - often paired with meds but not necessary). NEVER stop advocating for yourself because that unique treatment fit is absolutely there. You got this, now get back to your beautiful life and keep doing it anyways xox

Episode 11: "You'll Know When You've Had Enough" - The Trenches
WE MADE IT TO THE TRENCHES BABY.For once in my life I'm not going to yap and yap and I'm going to let this heart-led episode speak for itself. Let me take you on a journey of what led up to the trenches, how I unknowingly kept myself there, and most importantly - how I rose out of them, conquered my mind and became the sticky brain baddie I am today. Genuinely NEVER thought I'd be on the other side of this when I was in it, speaking from lived experience and sharing my journey. Please know it gets SO much better and chronic does not mean constant. There is so much joy and relief on the other side of an ocd flare (even if it FEELS like it'll never end) - do not use this as reassurance but ***TRUSTTTTT** me on this one. Please let my own journey help minimize your own through your own loops. Learn from my mistakes and live righttttt through em baby!ENJOY xo

Episode 10: Reptile Rescue Mission - Surviving & Thriving with Alex (Part 3)
IN THE FINALE of our chat with Alex, we discuss more in depth what we would have done differently knowing what we know now about OCD treatment. Our favourite lizard herself also takes the mic and bravely discusses her own experiences with anxiety, her own loops and how she lived through those against all odds. Ending on a funnier humourous note, we also discuss the ultimate plot twist if our 32 year old selves were to somehow end up cohabitating again in 2025. Definitely less Hills fights, no wine and more water and melatonin xoxoAlthough we did the best with what we could at the time and the limited knowledge/ lack of diagnosis, we want all the listeners to know that OCD and anxiety cannot be solved or talked out of. The way out is through and to face it head on. Please get in touch with a licensed professional who can guide you with the proper tools out of these loops. You can and WILL get better. YOU GOT THIS xo

Episode 9: Reptile Rescue Mission - Surviving & Thriving with Alex (Part 2)
Alex and I dig into the messy reality of taboo intrusive thoughts—how mine were mistaken for depression, what we wish we’d done differently, and why “don’t feed it” is the better path. It’s an honest look at support, redirection, and finding your way out of the loop.

Episode 8: Reptile Rescue Mission - Surviving & Thriving with Alex (Part 1)
Part 1 takes us back to the early days: the stories, the survival, and the moments that shaped us into who we are now. Expect laughter, honesty, and a little reptile-level resilience. This is just a fragment of part of the tale of our 20+ year friendship.Supporting a loved one with OCD doesn’t always look the way you’d expect, and in this episode, Alex (my little gremlin lizard pal) and I unpack what it really means to show up for each other through the mess. Our hope is that this story cracks your heart open, makes you laugh, and maybe even gives you that little sentimental tingle down there too. xoxo

Episode 7: Emotions Made Stickier
In this brief little tidbit episode, I break down a particular experience that stopped me and my sticky brain tools clean in their tracks. Of course we're taught to disregard unwanted feelings, but what happens when we're faced with real life feelings that feel amplified and exaggerated by anxiety/ocd - while still holding space for them to move through? I talk about where I landed with that question above xo

Episode 6: Stop Fighting, Start Floating (3 Mental Health Metaphors That Actually Work)
Ever notice how trying to “think your way out” of an uncomfortable and/or hard headspace just digs you deeper? In this episode, I share three simple mental health metaphors—Whitewater Rapids, Drop the Rope, and the Passenger on the Bus—that actually help you step out of the struggle. Quick, real, and universal: use them once to anchor, then keep moving. You probably wont feel great immediately with these tools - but that is the work, do it anyways baddies.

Episode 5: OCD FAQ in 10 Minutes (For Once)
In a SHOCKING turn of events, I answer your most-asked questions… quickly. This bite-sized episode is proof that miracles happen, because anyone who knows me knows a ‘long story short’ usually means you’re here until next year heheh. This is a little pit stop in between the deeper dives. Not at all implying that recovery should be sped through, however - keeping it short, sweet and less analytical is key through sticky brain recovery.

Episode 4: OCD In A Wig (A Journey Through Subtypes)
OCD in a wig. That’s the episode. Just kidding—but not really. This week, I’m walking you through all the ways OCD has shown up in my life. OCD's greatest hits if you will. From childhood checking to existential spirals, somatic freakouts, gender identity loops, and more—I’ve lived through a loootttt of themes. HOWEVER - I’m not sharing this to scare you or make you obsess about what’s next. I’m sharing it to remind you: it’s all the same loop. The treatment is the same for all. The content changes, but the pattern doesn’t. Once I saw that - the game changed. If you’ve ever found yourself thinking, “Wait… is thiiisssss OCD too?," or are curious about all the ways OCD can actually show up besides the commonly assumed need for order and cleanliness - buckle up baddies xox

Episode 3: OCD Misconceptions (Chronic, Cured, or Clickbait?)
This one’s meaty !!!!!We’re breaking down some of the biggest myths about OCD and recovery—starting with the idea that there’s a “monster in your brain.” I talk about why chronic doesn’t mean constant, how external exposures can actually backfire depending on how your obsession presents, and why your OCD therapist isn’t supposed to be your bestie. We also get into common misunderstandings around therapy styles, what recovery actually looks like, and why it’s okay if it hasn’t worked the way you thought it would. If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing it wrong—you’re not. Let’s clear some things up.

Episode 2: WTF Is OCD, Actually?
You’ve heard the jokes—“I’m so OCD!”—but what does OCD actually mean? In this episode, I break down what obsessive-compulsive disorder really is (and what it isn’t) from a lived-experience lens. We talk intrusive thoughts, invisible compulsions, and why the “neat freak” stereotype totally misses the mark. This isn’t a clinical lecture—it’s the episode I wish I had when I was lost in it. Whether you’re new to OCD, deep in your own loop, or just here to learn, I gotchu babe. Let’s get into it. 💥

Episode 0: Welcome to the Loop
Think of it as a self-help podcast… if self-help had a cottage cheese addiction and told the truth about OCD and their own mental health.
