In this episode, I breakdown a tragic police-involved shooting in Mantua, New Jersey. Officer Salvatore Oldrati responded to a 1:35 a.m. 911 call from Charles Sharp III reporting armed trespassers on his property. When Officer Oldrati arrived, he encountered Sharp outside the residence, and during the tense encounter, Officer Oldrati, fatally wounding him. Investigators later recovered a realistic replica handgun near Sharp. Officers immediately rendered aid before he was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
