We take a stop to look upon one of the lesser known Sonic games, Sonic Rivals where Eggman Nega is running around turning people, emeralds and even the planet into cards which includes a collectathon aspect where the player collects cards of characters and items from across the years of Sonic. This gave Cameroxn and Lycos a horrible idea, treating these collectables like how the cards work in the game and create devastating combos and time paradox's galore.
