From failing words comes musical birth. There are concepts and expressions that cannot be contained within human language, so I attempt to do it with sounds I like. Which is why this is here. I'm not here to show off or get noticed; I just want a place anyone interested in hearing what goes on in my head can visit to listen. I believe joy, laughter, and music are gifts from something bigger than us all. Whether or not you agree doesn't matter to me. I will still serve you with kindness. If you really want to know more, just reach out to me. I assure you I'll respond.Everything here has a story. Everything.

Creep (No Vox) - Radiohead Cover

My take on Radiohead's famous "Creep". There will eventually be vocals ("VOX"). I plan three versions for this: one with my vocals overlaid, one with a female singer I know, and this one (the instrumental). Enjoy!

Mi Sol (Scratch VOX; No intro; Unmastered)

Para mi Manzanita. Gracias, amor. --LYRICS-- VERSE 1 Pardon me, but I mean to be so bold. A story's only as good as the way it's told. Rest assured the rhythm between us is one nobody's ever heard, So I'll hold you like I hold my word [and I said...] PRECHORUS Do, mi, sol, You'll never be too fa ["far"]. 'Cause even in the dark, The light you shine means backwards never matters. Every word fails me, Perfection is a lie. I can't say enough to say anything, but I wrote a song to try: CHORUS This is your song, mi Sol, To you my heart belongs, This is your song, mi Sol, This is your song, mi Sol, Tú eres mi canción, Tú eres mi corazón, Tú eres mi canción, Tú eres mi canción, VERSE 2 Lo siento, mi español es muy mal, But that'll never stop me going forward and learning how, To use any language necessary just to weave a harmonic tapestry. You're the subject of my melody, And it goes: Do, mi, sol, You'll never be too fa ["far"]. 'Cause even in the dark, The light you shine means backwards never matters. Every word fails me, Perfection is a lie. I say too much to say anything, but I wrote a song to try: (CHORUS) (BRIDGE) (PRECHORUS) (CHORUS)

I Think You'd Be Proud (Final)

This is the final iteration of this piece/track after hearing it on Music Student 101 seven-hundred times because I'm obsessive when it comes to my music. My standards should never be applied to another living soul because they are masochistically high. I went back, polished, and added Easter eggs as I'm liable to do in almost everything I write. If you pay attention you will hear them. I've always been a fan of works of art or entertainment that had hidden cool stuff in them so you could go back and watch/listen/experience them again and again and find something new! This piece is a tribute and homage to the two most influential composers/musicians from whom I had the pleasure and extremely good fortune of learning; one a professor, and one a dear longtime friend (may he rest in piece). When You Leave

The feeling you get when you don't know if she's coming back. Intentionally meandering. Lost. Over-dramatic? Melancholic Romeo-syndrome? Sure. Why not. Pulled out my inner Rachmaninoff for this one. May or may not be expanded into a multi-movement piece. Will definitely be reusing the double bass and cello swells/call and answer textures.

I Think You'd Be Proud (First Iteration)

I've come a long way. RIP, JMV. This is the first iteration of the piece/track. It is the same as the version featured in an episode of Music Student 101, an excellent podcast that can be found on any major streaming platform (Stitcher, Spotify, etc.) IMPORTANT: The picture associated with this track is not mine and was sourced from the web.
