Maas and "13 Reasons Why" by Jay Asher. They explore themes of censorship and the impact of literature on young audiences. Not all content is appropriate for young adults, which can be seen in the sexually explicit series "A Court of Thorns and Roses" and the idolization of suicide in "13 Reasons Why."
