Make It Make Sense with Destiny

This week I go into how I want to stop my self doubt. I know that I can get through the tough times, it's just a matter of making it through. I missed my best friend's birthday party because saving $$, it starting making me feel like I was a bad friend because I couldn't afford to go out. HELLLOO!!! We made it to season two!! I thought this would be the perfect episode to go into season two, it's light hearted & fun, whilst being under one of the influences. My best friend & I talk about about hot takes that people sent in, & ones that we looked up! I hope that you enjoy this episode, & I'm excited to see where this season goes!!

This week I talk about friendships, whether they're surface level or deeper connections we should always be there for one another. Sometimes it hurts when you find out that a friendship isn't as deep as you thought, but that's okay you grow from it. Everyone goes through different seasons, but that's why it's so important to love on one another & support friends always. This week I talk about how Im starting my journey off of birth control, since being on it for 15 years. I'm so nervous, but I know I will be fine. I also talk about how Samuel & I will start trying for kids soon after the wedding. All very exciting things, thank you again for listening week after week & I'll be back next week!

This week I have my mom on the podcast and we answer some questions that were sent in by friends & family. It was wonderful having her on & hearing the different answers she had to say from each baby she's had. Even though we weren't able to be together on actual Mother's Day today was special! Enjoy!

This week I talk to one of my best friends who has experienced PCOS first hand, and we talk about her experience with it, and what came from it. She's celebrating her first mothers day, and Colson's first birthday in June. If you are a person who has experienced PCOS symptoms or you think you might have it, I highly recommend visiting your doctor and getting the tests done! Trust your intuition! This week I have a special guest on & we talk about how she has been trying to conceive for almost four and a half years now. The things she's gone through to have a child, as well as her husband. We don't realize a lot what is going on behind closed doors, and what people are going through. This week I talk about how my fiancé & I went to the Dreamville music festival in Raleigh, NC. Celebrating our one year engagement anniversary, while also seeing some of our favorite artists. It was an adventure to say the least, & I wouldn't have wanted to do it with anyone else.

This week I talk about being worthy. I've never casually let something good happen to me without self doubt creeping in, so I'm here to put a stop to it. I am worthy of the good things, & so are you! I hope that you enjoy!

This week we go over expectations & how to not let yourself get disappointed when someone doesn't do something. Expectations often lead to disappointment, lower your expectations with people or be open & honest with them & see how much happier you come out of the situation or season you're in. 

Making sense of prioritizing your own happiness. Start living life more, laughing a lot, and loving yourself, and the people in your life. Life is too short to not participate in your life!

This week my best friend & I talk about big sister things. We both come from parents that had our siblings many years later after us, so it's a different world to grow up in.
