When a group of young adults embarks on a nutting expedition, a sudden rainstorm forces them to seek shelter in a welcoming home. As the storm rages on, Marjorie feels compelled to return home that night to show her love and respect for her mother. Yet, her companions are eager to prolong their adventure and stay overnight. Ralph, the wagon driver and Marjories quiet admirer, finds himself swayed by Estelles playful teasing, leading him to deny the groups request to leave.
