After beginning her career in pediatrics, she discovered a new passion in plastic surgery and aesthetics—blending her clinical expertise with an eye for detail and a heart for healing.Hope opens up about her nursing path, advanced training, and what ultimately led her to the unique field of plastic surgery.____Hope is our Nurse Practitioner and Master Injector, specializing in both cosmetic and surgical procedures—including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, laser resurfacing, and much more!Some of Hope’s favorite treatments to perform for patients are laser resurfacing—such as HALO and MicroLaserPeel—and skin-boosting procedures like Bellafill and Skinvive! She has been trained by the leaders in the field and offers the highest level of care and transformative results for her patients, who frequently praise Hope for her “gentle touch.”In addition to her work in aesthetics, Hope also assists with the surgical side of the practice. She performs procedures such as scar revisions and skin lesion removal, and she assists Dr. Basile in the operating room. You’ll get to know Dr. Patrick Basile beyond the operating room as he shares his journey to becoming a plastic surgeon — from early inspirations and pivotal moments to the experiences that shaped his pathWhether you're a patient, colleague, or just curious to learn more about the person behind the mission, this conversation offers a candid look at the passion and purpose that fuel Dr. Basile’s work every day.Let’s jump in and get to know Dr. B a little better.____Dr. Patrick Basile was born in an orphanage in Bogotá, Colombia and was adopted by a loving family from Long Island in New York. He attended Boston College obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a concentration in Psychobiology and then completed a post-baccalaureate program at the University of Pennsylvania. He was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy after being accepted into the Health Profession Scholarship Program offered by the Department of Defense.Dr. Basile completed medical school at the SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse NY. He has extensive training from the University of Rochester where he completed his General Surgery Residency, Research Fellowship and Plastic Surgery Residency. Then he served on active duty in the U.S. Navy and was the Assistant Chief of Plastic Surgery & Director of Microsurgery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, the largest military medical facility in the world, which cares for the majority of combat wounded from the Iraq/ Afghanistan conflicts. During his time in the Navy, Dr. Basile was also given the opportunity to serve those with no access to hospitals in Latin America as the Commanding Officer for the Department of Defense’s yearly humanitarian cleft lip and palate mission where they have helped thousands of patients.When not at the office he likes spending time with friends & family, playing guitar, going to concerts, fishing, boating, and traveling. Dr. Basile and his wife, Shannon, are proud parents of six children. In 2022, their family grew even more when their oldest daughter and son-in-law welcomed their first child — making Dr. Basile a thrilled first-time “Papa.”____ Got a question for us?
