In this episode, Linas and Daniel tier rank some historical film movements in terms of how we would recommend them for a newcommer, while also taking potshots at Zoomers (despite us mostly being them). We look at 7 in particular: New Hollywood, French New Wave, German Expressionism, Taiwanese New Wave, Japanese Golden Age, Italian Neorealism, and the Czechoslovak New Wave. So as you can see, listening to this will definitely be the equivalent of acquiring a bachelor's in film studies!
