Welcome to the MARIT-D podcast series. MARIT-D is a Multi Realtime Intelligence Tool. MARIT-D is developed by an international and multidisciplinary team to realise more effective law enforcement in the area of maritime trafficking. The MARIT-D project is a first decisive step toward closer pan-European collaboration, and is taking the necessary steps in disrupting trafficking in Europe. Within this project, specialists from five EU Member States are joining forces to help support safer seas. Among these specialists are representatives from law enforcement agencies, an NGO, a university, a research and technology organisation, and a governmental institution. This project has received co-funding from the Internal Security Fund - Police programme under grant agreement n° 101114216.
