Markeybee is a British composer living in the east coast of England. Playful yet introspective, his melodic style reflects his love of orchestral music, improvised and instrumental music stemming from classic film scoring traditions. He writes for and leads a Piano and small group project that varies from a duo to quintet. His 2019 release Between Two Worlds was nominated for ‘Ep of the Year' for the Sound Force Music Award and the Boutique Awards. In May 2022, Markeybee re-released his 2018 Covers EP featuring Yorkshire vocalist Mac. The album was released Worldwide in May 2022. Notable past performances include the Lincoln Music Festival, Lincoln Pride, the Bishop Church Festival and BGU music live, as well as supporting musicians at the young musician development series. Markeybee has a number of concerts coming in 2022 and more to follow in 2023, including music sessions from Nashville.
