This track is meant to take you on a retrospective journey…one that leads you back to a simple truth. You are exactly where you’re supposed to be. Every high, every low, every moment in between… It all had a purpose. Everything behind you had a role in getting you here. So don’t fight it. Don’t rush it. Just feel it.

The very first time I heard the original “Right Where It Belongs,” by Nine Inch Nails, I fell in love immediately. I knew right away I wanted to put my own twist on such a beautiful piece written by an absolute powerhouse of an artist, Trent Reznor. The soul in the lyrics and the performance is captivating, to say the least. My goal with this rework was to reinterpret the song through a brighter lens, something that reflects where Trent seems to be now in his life and career. I actually had the pleasure of seeing him perform just a few days ago (HE’S DIALED IN btw), and when he opened his set with this track, it felt like a sign from the universe that it was time to let this rework shine. I wanted to take his masterpiece and reshape it into something that could live on the dancefloor. A timeless melodic record that still honors the emotional weight of the original. To stay true to that spirit, I used elements from the original production as a way of paying homage. My hope is that this version preserves the heart of the song while giving it new life in a different space. I hope I did it justice <3

This record is a bit unorthodox when it comes to typical Drum & Bass, but i wanted ot that way. Drum & Bass built by all the sounds of progressive melodic house <3 Enjoy!
