Middle Man

Do you know what HSP is??? Sounds like a bad disease, right? Horrendous Species Person. It actually stands for Highly Sensitive Person. It can be a great gift or terrible curse.  I'll get into my experience as an HSP, yeah you know me. 

I hate insomnia with a passion. But it's not exactly an easy fix.  I've been dealing with some intense insomnia for about 4 years now and I've got a lot to share on the subject.  Let's get into it.

I just had a huuuuuge revelation... It impacts my understanding of movies, music, religion, friends, children, EVERYTHING! It's at the core of all we do and all we seek after.  This is a very important episode.  LISTEN :) 

Do you normally hang out with artists or 'normals' (normal, average people)? I used to hang out ONLY with artists, but now I basically ONLY hang out with average citizens.  It's been an interesting ride. Let's chat about it :)

Have you ever felt your 'calling' in life? Many people have never experienced a clear sense of be aligned with a deep sense of purpose and they feel bad about it.  But what in my opinion feels much worse than not knowing your calling is having a complicated relationship with your destiny... That's what today is all about :) 

Some people strive for a nice house(mortgage), car(payments), electronics and the like.  But not me.  I've never wanted to be anywhere near the middle.  It's big or bust for me.  Here's why...

So many people are dealing with some serious anxiety about all the changes that are taking place in the world, but change is EXTREMELY necessary for humanity. It's hard to understand what your standards are until you hang out with someone with different standards... Today my car trunk door taught me a huge lesson about how low my car door standards are. Let's get into it :) 

Canadians and Americans are similar are SUPER different.  Figure that one out... It's even harder to understand which one I am, since I'm exactly 50/50...

Are you an introvert or an extrovert? To what degree?  That's what today is all about, talking about being happy to be with people and also needing to systematically escape them at the same time :) 1

Aging is like a disease in the west because it reminds many people of our inevitable sashay off this planet.  But in typical fashion, I can't decided whether I'm old or young...neither can most people. It's very interesting.  I'm trying to accept my age and fight it simultaneously :) That's what today is all about.  

I consider myself to be the least religious religious person ever. I'm a middle man.  Today's episode is all about how my atheistic worldview fell apart at the age of 27.  It's not easy to lose your identity - event when it's not serving you anymore...actually it's quite painful.  But you can either hang onto an old self that doesn't serve you in order to stay 'comfortable' or you can face your demons and grow into an updated version of yourself. :)
