Through relatable examples an grounded insight, Dr. Frometa explains how our nervous system reacts before our thoughts 'catch up', why anxiety can feel so immediate and PHYSICAL, and how past experiences and stress can create 'false alarms' in the body. You'll also learn a simple mindfulness practice you can use when anxiety rises- one that helps reconnect with yourself and move through the moment with more clarity and self-compassion. This episode is for anyone who has ever wondered, 'Why am I like this?' or "Why won't my anxiety calm down?'.
