The Darker the Better I started on vinyl in 2000. Deep Dish GU21 Moscow changed my life forever, and since the beginning I've loved dark music; especially Y2K progressive house and labels, such as Baroque, Hooj Choons, Fluid, Rhythm Syndicate and YoshiToshi among others. In 2008-9, I was in a record pool with some big name DJs and had a monthly two-hour residency on DI.FM. I was unhappy when all my favorite DJs moved to Techno. I didn't like the music at all. It didn't have the dynamics and fullness of the old school progressive; it all sounded minimalistic, and the music bored me.For the last few years, however, techno has evolved into something I really like. I like strong throbbing bass lines, dark synths, vocals, noises; and what's really interesting to me is that in many tracks I hear synth lines that remind me of epic trance, which can give a dark track a few splashes of color. Also, I am working on my own productions and hopefully, at some point in the future, I will include
