Gary in Germany part Zwei (The Colon Episode)

In this episode Gary continues to tell me about some games he played in Germany. I also tell him about some of the games I enjoyed playing while he was away. We also could've called this the colon episode since almost all the games we talk about have a colon in the title for some reason. We also review The Fog: Escape from Paradise from Grand Gamers Guild. This is a short and sweet episode where we just talk about a bunch of games and you don't have to listen to all our banter! 2:32- Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Crypt Hunters7:49- Critter Kitchen13:57- Arena: For the Gods!18:38 Rock Hard: 197724:10- The Fog: Escape from Paradise

The sheriff of nottingham goes on a loony quest to a gorinto and uses his telepathy to go fishing

Can you guess what games we talk about in this episode? Hint: they're all in the title. With Gary headed out of the country again, this time to Ireland, we wanted to just talk about some games we played recently with no real theme for this episode. Although Gary does go on a small rant but what's new? In case you haven't guessed it we talk about Sheriff of Nottingham, Loony Quest, Fishing, Telepathy, and we do our newest review from Grand Gamers Guild of an older game by them called Gorinto! I think one of these games might be on our new to us game of the year list so don't miss this one!3:47- Sheriff of Nottingham13:05- Loony Quest21:17- Fishing28:48- Telepathy33:56- (Gary's Rant)38:53-Gorinto

I talk about bringing our friends to Tabletop Utopia for their first convention and Gary talks about his time at a 24 hour game day at a local game store. Also we finally review Pack the Essentials a game that we spoke about a long time ago! We also talk about Castles of Mad King Ludwig, Cabanga, Things in Rings, and Tokaido. Captain Con game reviews and penguins?

So with the hit Daredevil show currently happening we thought it might be a good idea for everyone to feel like Daredevil and not be able to see us! Actually we had video issues but we were able to pull the audio. In this episode we talk about games we played at Captain Con and some that were given to us to review. We also talk about the new game Push Push Penguin because it comes out on March 25th! We also have a chat about information we think needs to be on game boxes for people to make better choices on what to play.2:24-missing game box information11:54- Zoomies 18:09- The Supershow33:50- Magician's Challenge42:21- Push Push Penguin51:50- The Fate Experiment

    Railways, Witches, and Weekends

In this episode we talk about some of the games we played like Blood Rage, Rising Sun, and Stay Cool over the last two weekends to celebrate Adams birthday! We also finish the last two reviews from the games we received at Pax Unplugged. String Railway Collection a game where you lay strings to connect stations and possibly deliver goods and Harrow County by designer Jay Cormier & Shad Miller (we forgot to say it in the episode) a game based on a graphic novel by the same name where you can play a 1 V 1 game as different factions with several characters with asymmetric powers to either protect or destroy a town (or find a doll?) or add a third player as a witch that burns everything down? This is one you'll just have to listen to understand.

    Captain Con 2025 Special

It's finally here! Sorry for the delay but trust me it's worth it. We talk about all the things we did at Captain Con and all the things we missed because there was so much to do and unfortunately we had to sleep. We talk about the tournaments, demos, vendors, miniatures, prizes, classes, karaoke, and a bunch of other things that I'm sure I'm forgetting. If you missed out listen to this episode because you have no idea about the fun you missed. Also listen to this even if you went because I'm sure there are things you missed out on because I know we did even though we were there everyday.

Games to bring to the holiday parties

This episode is stuffed (see what I did there?) with games that we think would be great to bring to those holiday get togethers that are just around the corner. We try to cover all types of games from kids games to adult games. I forget that a hippo and a rhino are two different animals and Gary says some offensive things as usual. Heads up there are some NSFW content in this one (thanks Gary). The games we talk about are Zombie Dice, TMNT Dice, No Thanks, Cash n Guns, Quixx, Flip 7, Telestrations, Blank Slate, Herd Mentality, Wavelength, Just One, Hues and Cues, Captain Clueless, I'm a Little Crabby(You've Got Crabs), Super Rhino, Sequoia, Crossing, The Mind, The Game, Tsuro, Heroes of Barcadia, Dwarves: Dig Delve Die, Iron and Ales, and Billionare Banshee. Wow that is a lot of games! I hope you enjoy and have a happy holiday!

2 episodes in one month? I know we spoil you. In this episode we get back on track with another thing that has a big impact on how people enjoy games which is player interaction. We touch on our experience of teaching at Tabletop Utopia again and some more convention talk. We also talk about some games we played that Gary recently got from a Kickstarter he backed called the Tiny Game Series Volume 1 which include Sires, Defrag, and 16 Candies. We also talk about Floor Plan, Forbidden Desert, Machi Koro Legacy(no spoilers), and Unstable Unicorns. Wow we do spoil you all because that's a lot of content!

  24. 7
