Staying in my feminine while raising a boy
In this episode I talk about staying in my feminine while raising a young boy. Sometimes I feel as if it is a little difficult trying to do things that define who I am as woman without my son clinging on to those things. I don’t want to be too masculine because that’s not who I am. I want to stay in my feminine and teach my son that there are things that mommy does that he doesn’t need to do. Motherhood is one of the best things that has happened to me but I definitely find it challenging when it comes to being a boy mom lol. Remaining in my feminine is important for several different reasons. I talked to my spouse got his insight on what a feminine woman’s role is while a raising a boy and it was very interesting. Thanks for listening/watching and let me know your thoughts in the comments! Be sure to subscribe/follow my podcast for more episodes and motherhood content.

What's your 'WHY' behind doing what you do?
In this episode I discuss the struggle I’ve been going through when it comes to why I may or may not want to do things because of how that tradition started (it’s origin). Some people may not find the things that I find important enough to go into deep thought about it but I think about the decision I decide to make can affect me and the people around me. These things for me may look like: politics, religion, celebrating holidays, etc. I get so obsessed with the why or how things started and asking myself if its something that I want to involve myself in that I become stuck in making a decision on whether I want to do it or not. I think this is because of the outside noise that I am listening to at times or feeling like my children and I may be left out. I’m learning it’s important to educate myself and make the best informed decision I can make for me and my family. Is this something you’ve thought about before? Let me know down in the comments!

FACING THE TRUTH AND LIFE UDPATE
In this episode I talk about how I had to face the truth about being stressed regarding Hurricane Milton which led me to open my eyes to be more truthful with myself in general. And this is when it comes to a number of things in my life because after all, how you treat yourself and carry yourself and what you tell yourself can affect the relationships around you. I tried to tell myself that I wasn’t stressed about the hurricane coming but my body made me say otherwise. I suffer from Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), which is a chronic, non-contagious skin condition that causes painful, inflamed lumps, or nodules, that form under the skin. I had flare/ inflamed lump form in my armpit and tried to blame it on everything but being stressed or anxious. About 2 days after the hurricane passed the lump was starting to go back down. Tell me that aint stress! LOL I just wanted to give an update on where I’ve been and what’s going. Have you been ok mama? What’s got you stressed? Let me know in the comments or catch me on my socials. See ya later! P.s. don’t forget to rate the podcast so I know you enjoy the show and follow for more upcoming content!

do what makes YOU happy | NO REMORSE
Let’s talk about the feeling you get when you start to do things that serves YOU. You start to make decisions and do things that makes YOU happy. You’re not worried about nothing else, peoples feelings, thoughts, etc. Sometimes other peoples’ opinions drives our decision making and it really shouldn’t be that way. I really believe in the saying that what I am doing or feeling is between me and God. No one else! We are still human so it’s only natural for us to feel away when we start to deviate from what we’ve been programmed to learn but it’s time to step into your own life and make decisions because it makes you happy and makes sense to you. Let me know what your thoughts about this topic are and have you experienced this? How’d you work through it or overcome it? Thank you for watching and be sure to subscribe to the channel, like this video and share with another mama you know may need a community that address a number of topics not talked about enough.

WHO AM I? |The Identity Challenges of Being a Mom
In this episode we are discussing the need to reclaim our identity outside of being a mom! We have to figure out what we like/enjoy to do for ourselves as moms. Let’s stop making excuses and holding off until our children are older. It might just be that we wait all this time to find enjoyment then we get stuck in a place where it’s too late. It may be hard to find time to have a hobby or even be confused about what hobby you want to take up as a mom deep in motherhood but it’s not impossible! Join me on this journey to figuring out what we like to do and have for our own as moms. It’s detrimental to our mental and emotional well being to have a sense of identity without stating that being a mom is who you are. I left a little homework for you to complete and I want to know how it goes. Please leave feedback and experiences in the comments, join in the conversation! Share with another mom that you know may need this and don’t forget to follow if you haven’t already. Thanks for listening! 😊
