In a rundown hospital, patients with bizarre afflictions are in constant need of medical attention, but a miserable doctor in charge prefers to drink. An ER doctor divides her time between saving lives and juggling a love affair with a fellow doctor. An encounter with Saint Francis of Assisi will rearrange these two doctors’ fates, sending them on a journey of altered perspective. Meanwhile, Lt. Doodle loses his partner in a shoot-out with muffin smugglers. In order to take down to the leader of the muffin ring, he joins forces with an undercover vigilante who’s working as a mini mart employee.
