For the first time in a month, the Mets didn't lose more than they won this past week. But they also didn't win more than they lost, so is the outlook of the season any less bleak? Join us as we recap the last 6 games of the Mets doing more of the same. We have another analysis of the decisions made by David Stearns and preview the Knicks 2nd round matchup against Philly, the 76ers not those damn birds. Then we'll round out the show with a look ahead to the rest of the Mets' road (trip).

The losing streak is over, but another one has begun. Watching the Mets play baseball right now isn't all that fun. On this week's episode, we recap the up and down week it was as they followed a series win by feeling the wind of Colorado's brooms. Is there any light beyond this doom and gloom? There's an NFL Draft review and the Knicks look back in tune. Wait, does this month's misery mean we don't have to endure the June swoon? Anyway, you know what to do.

After a 1-5 week at home, the Mets followed it up with a winless week on the road against two NL foes, furthering its woes. This week's episode recaps the consecutive sweeps while trying to make sense of the 11-game losing streak. The Knicks win game 1 at MSG as they prep for a game 2 victory. After a winning week out west, the Mets came home and played far from their best. After they lost their series in the Lou, the Mets flushed it out of their systems and turned a sluggish start into a slugfest in San Fran. We’re just over a week away from Opening Day! On this week’s episode, we’ll recap the Mets’ past week of Grapefruit League play and preview some roster decisions they need to make before heading north to New York’s Flushing Bay. It’s a berth in the WBC finals once again for Team USA. What that game means to its starting pitcher, and Mets rookie phenom, Nolan McLean. We’re another week closer to Opening Day coming to town. On this week’s episode, we highlight the play of the veterans and youngsters aiming to be Queens bound. We’ll update you on the WBC and who’s likely to survive into the quarterfinal round. The Mets saw their grasp on a playoff spot slip away after a series defeat at the hand of the Nationals, last place in the NL East. With the team now needing to win and get some help along the way, do the Mets have what it takes to make the postseason again, or will this week be 2025's end? We talk magic numbers and what the others in the NL Wild Card race have up ahead. And we close out the show by previewing trips to Chicago and Miami, while also hoping that the '25 Mets don't end up with the same fate as a team from decade's past. After its worst losing streak of the season, Pete Alonso once again saved the Mets from the depths of despair by sending a ball over the right field wall. Will the Polar Bear's heroics ignite the team after an otherwise ice cold week? Soto's season is historic, yes, but has it been as helpful as it should be? Another Mets pitcher makes his MLB debut, and pitches quite well too. However, the team was unable to come through as after building momentum in the Motor City, it was given a red light in Cincinnati. After hopes of their first winning road trip since June, the Mets once again fell short of coming through, instead splitting the series' two. We're back and so are the Mets (maybe?)! After getting swept and experiencing an additional three difficult defeats, the team rebounds to take two out of three against the Mariners. While for the entire season up to this point the Mets have loved some home cooking, this past week they got cooked by both the Giants and Guardians. On this week's episode, we talk about the terribly bad homestand the team had while asking ourselves what's wrong with the offense? How the Mets' minor league teams are doing in their seasons of play, and touch on preseason football being back in play as well. Then we close out the show by talking about the Mets' road ahead, highlighted by a series against the MLB-leading Milwaukee Brewers in the Beer & Cheese state this weekend. After an up and down week out west, the Mets head back to New York with some new faces awaiting them. Back from the break, and after losing the first two, the Mets came back and continued to find ways to come through. On this week's episode, we highlight the week that was and the pivotal performances that have the Mets' win streak at 4. Is Alvy's return, along with improved performances from his fellow mates in the bottom half of the lineup enough to turn its production around? With the trade deadline a week away, we'll discuss who the Mets could be bringing into (and possibly shipping out of) town. Then we'll touch on the the latest feat accomplished by Scottie Scheffler in the world of golf. And we'll round out the show previewing the road ahead as the Mets have one last road trip out west where many of us will be asking ourselves, "Should I keep watching or go to bed?" The Mets wrapped up the first half of their schedule with another split of a road trip in Baltimore and KC. On this week's episode, we discuss the week that was, including the returns of both Kodai Senga and Sean Manaea from injury. The Mets respond from their dreadful series in Pittsburgh by coming home and taking back-to-back series from the Brewers and Yankees. On this week's episode, we cover the highlights of the week that was, talk about the lineup change that swung momentum back the Mets' way along with the reinforcements possibly arriving in the coming days. We'll also discuss Mike Brown being hired to take the helm of the basketball team over at MSG. Is he the right guy to lead the Knicks to victory? Then we'll round out the show by previewing the week ahead before next week's All-Star Game puts the regular season (temporarily) to bed. Trips to both Baltimore and Kansas City are on the way, so how will the Mets wrap up their first half of play? I also have a trade idea that would bring a certain pitcher back for another stay. The woes on the road continue as after fighting back to get a split of the series at home against the Braves, rather than righting the ship, we’re back to feeling like it's sinking again. On this week's episode, we'll continue our Mets' therapy session as we try to make sense of the nonsensical, historic series sweep defeat by the hooked hand of the Pirates. Can the pitching staff withstand another crucial injury to its rotation? When will the offense outside of Soto wake up again? And will the homestand ahead against the Brew Crew and Bronx Bombers help the team turn things around? Come join us on the couch as we definitely have lots to talk about.

The past week was anything but fun, but the Mets' season is far from done. On this week's episode, we discuss the wretched road trip that the stops in Atlanta and Philly were, talk about the causes of the recent swoon this back half of June, and how the team can get back in the New York groove. We also wrap up the NBA & NHL's playoffs as both leagues  crowned its champion. Then we round out the show by previewing the week ahead with a rematch against Atlanta in NYC and a trip out to one of baseball's most beautiful parks, PNC. Remain calm everyone. It's gonna be OK. 

It was a tale of two series indeed as the Mets' 3-3 homestand saw polar opposite outcomes occur. On this week's episode, we talk about the happenings of the past week, including a complete game shutpiece from David Peterson, but also Kodai Senga going down and the state of the Mets' rotation as a result. Is the offense back to not coming through with RISP? And does the team have a roster dilemma on its hands soon? We'll then pay tribute to a tried and true New York Ranger, Chris Kreider, who no longer will be wearing the #20 Blueshirt after last week's trade. Finally, we round things out by previewing the road trip ahead against our NL East rivals, Atlanta and Philly.

The Mets come through and go 5-2 on their trip out west and now head home the NL’s best. We highlight the week that was including a home run tear for the Polar Bear that now has him second on the franchise's all-time list. We also discuss the emergence of Jeff McNeil in the Mets lineup as well as the continued success of the starting pitching. We then dive into the news of Tom Thibodeau's firing as head coach of the Knicks and how the organization will move forward. And we wrap up the show with a preview of the homestand ahead against Washington and Tampa Bay. So, come aboard and let's play! 

The show is back to recap another terrific homestand that saw the Mets notch three series wins. We highlight the happenings of the homestand, then touch base on the performance of the Mets in May before previewing what's up ahead for them in June. We also put a bow on the Knicks season now that their playoff run is through. Then we breakdown the Mets' 4-game set in LA as they have another test from the Dodger blue. 

Round 1 of the Subway Series certainly provided its storylines. But the one heading into it was the same one coming out of it--Soto. On this week's episode, we'll recap the week that was, including discussing the Juan and only Soto, along with the Mets' challenges hitting with runners in scoring position (RISP). We'll also talk about the impending return of an arm to the Mets pitching staff, as well as Mauricio's hot start back in AAA. And, while we don't want to, we'll also recap the stunning OT defeat the Knicks suffered in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals at MSG. Then we'll preview the homestand up ahead as the vaunted LA Dodgers come into town this Memorial Day weekend in an NLCS rematch for three, before back-to-back series' against the lowly White Sox and Rockies.

The good mojo at Citi Field continues for our team in Flushing as they notch another pair of home series wins. In this week's episode, we cover the highlights of the games against the Cubs and Pirates, including the incredible homestand from Brett Baty, talk about the Mets rotation making history and how one of its members is exceeding expectations. We then go downtown and discuss the Knicks being one win away from their first conference finals appearance in 25 years. And we'll close out the show previewing the road ahead, including this weekend's highly anticipated Subway Series matchup in the Bronx. So, catch me on the 7, 4 or 1 and let's have some fun!

Another road trip, another split of a pair of series' for the Mets. On this week's episode, we talk about the state of the Mets' offense after another up and down week, what Jose Siri's injury and Kodai Senga's start mean for the team, and discuss another New York team that wears orange & blue looking to end their decades' long title drought, too. The Mets returned home to rousing support from the Flushing Faithful as they secured series victories against both Toronto and Miami. We recap the week that was at Citi Field, including top performances, noting those still looking to get going, some IL updates and preview the road (trip) ahead.
