We have the answers to all these questions and more in store for you. So please join us as we promise you won't be bored.

What Story Will the Bullpen Write?
After analyzing the other two facets of this year's Mets team, this week we discuss the arms in the late innings us fans will see. The Arms Race: Mets' Pitching Targets

We've got a lot to unpack so come join us and grab a snack.

We have coaching staff and roster updates to provide and will discuss some players who could be wearing orange and blue by the time the offseason is through. So, please, come join me on the couch as we begin our offseason therapy session.

The Final Countdown
The Mets saw their grasp on a playoff spot slip away after a series defeat at the hand of the Nationals, last place in the NL East. With the team now needing to win and get some help along the way, do the Mets have what it takes to make the postseason again, or will this week be 2025's end? We talk magic numbers and what the others in the NL Wild Card race have up ahead. And we close out the show by previewing trips to Chicago and Miami, while also hoping that the '25 Mets don't end up with the same fate as a team from decade's past. Doesn't it feel like this season has both been long and, at the same time, fast? But I'm not ready to put this one in the books, so let's start talking about how this team can cook!
-
29
Faith in Flushing?
After its worst losing streak of the season, Pete Alonso once again saved the Mets from the depths of despair by sending a ball over the right field wall. Will the Polar Bear's heroics ignite the team after an otherwise ice cold week? Soto's season is historic, yes, but has it been as helpful as it should be? Are the Mets able to take solace in that they still hold a playoff spot after all this? We'll discuss the team's starting pitching plan for the upcoming week and check on what's going down in the minor leagues. We'll also recap Alumni weekend and share a take on what we, and MLB, can learn from the Savannah Bananas and their game of play. Then we'll round out the show previewing the road ahead as the Mets hope to end up not having to put their home schedule to bed. It's a fresh, new week, folks, so let's get it started right!

The Kids Are All Right but When Will Mets Take Flight?
Another Mets pitcher makes his MLB debut, and pitches quite well too. However, the team was unable to come through as after building momentum in the Motor City, it was given a red light in Cincinnati. On this week's episode, we talk about Brandon Sproat's debut along with his fellow rookie hurlers, too. Is their success so far enough to get the Mets' through the rest of the way? Is Soto about to have a September to remember? We recap the highlights of week 1 of the NFL season. Then we round out the show previewing the road ahead, which includes the return of some former Met greats as well as our old friend, Jake. It's a jam-packed bowl of topics to discuss, so let's bake!

Ever the Same
After hopes of their first winning road trip since June, the Mets once again fell short of coming through, instead splitting the series' two. On this week's episode, we dive into the up and down week for the starting pitching, highlight the resurgence of the Met offense, specifically Mark Vientos, as well as discuss another potential pitching promotion from Triple-A. We then go long on an NFL preview while serving up some US Open Tennis talk, too. And we'll round out the show the only way we know by looking ahead to both the home stand and road trip to come as your host preps for a little trip of his own. There's a lot we have to talk about so, please, come and join us!

Then we round out the show previewing the road ahead as the Mets venture down to D.C. and Atlanta for a pair of series they desperately need. It's been a rollercoaster season thus far, so let's hop back on!
-

These Are the Dog Days of Summer
While for the entire season up to this point the Mets have loved some home cooking, this past week they got cooked by both the Giants and Guardians. On this week's episode, we talk about the terribly bad homestand the team had while asking ourselves what's wrong with the offense? Are Brandon Sproat and/or Nolan McLean ever going to be promoted from Triple-A? How the Mets' minor league teams are doing in their seasons of play, and touch on preseason football being back in play as well. Then we close out the show by talking about the Mets' road ahead, highlighted by a series against the MLB-leading Milwaukee Brewers in the Beer & Cheese state this weekend. Baby Comeback!
Back from the break, and after losing the first two, the Mets came back and continued to find ways to come through. On this week's episode, we highlight the week that was and the pivotal performances that have the Mets' win streak at 4. Is Alvy's return, along with improved performances from his fellow mates in the bottom half of the lineup enough to turn its production around? With the trade deadline a week away, we'll discuss who the Mets could be bringing into (and possibly shipping out of) town. Then we'll touch on the the latest feat accomplished by Scottie Scheffler in the world of golf. And we'll round out the show previewing the road ahead as the Mets have one last road trip out west where many of us will be asking ourselves, "Should I keep watching or go to bed?" Keep watching of course! Though for now, relax and take a listen to this show.
-

Trips to both Baltimore and Kansas City are on the way, so how will the Mets wrap up their first half of play? I also have a trade idea that would bring a certain pitcher back for another stay. Won't you please stay, too? I sure hope you do!

A Pirate’s Booty Whoopin
The woes on the road continue as after fighting back to get a split of the series at home against the Braves, rather than righting the ship, we’re back to feeling like it's sinking again. On this week's episode, we'll continue our Mets' therapy session as we try to make sense of the nonsensical, historic series sweep defeat by the hooked hand of the Pirates. Can the pitching staff withstand another crucial injury to its rotation? When will the offense outside of Soto wake up again? And will the homestand ahead against the Brew Crew and Bronx Bombers help the team turn things around? Come join us on the couch as we definitely have lots to talk about.

Is the offense back to not coming through with RISP? And does the team have a roster dilemma on its hands soon?
