Mundaka Upanishad

The term Upanishad (upa-ni-shad) evokes the image of students gathering around a teacher for deep discussion and learning. With over 200 Upanishads known, many have faded into obscurity, preserved only through references in other texts. For centuries, these profound teachings were shared orally as Shlokas—verses from the Vedic Anustubh meter.
