Episode 2: Big Feelings, Little Hearts: Learning Emotions Together (ft. Lindsay Giroux)
Have you ever wondered how a children’s book comes to life—or how something as simple as a story can help a child make sense of big emotions? In this episode of My Path, My Voice, I’m joined by early childhood educator and author Lindsay Giroux, who shares how her classroom experiences led her to create books that truly support children’s social-emotional development. What makes her books unique is this: they go beyond simply labeling feelings. They help children experience emotions, notice what’s happening in their bodies, and offer adults simple, supportive ways to respond in the moment. If you’d like to explore her books, learn more about her work, or connect with her directly, visit her website:https://www.lindsayngiroux.com/
