    There's A Fungus Among Us

Hello everybody! In todays episode, we dive into the science behind genetically modified cordyceps. After falling down yet ANOTHER TikTok rabbit hole, I decided to research just how likely it would be for the popular TV show, The Last Of Us, to become a reality. We're going to discuss what cordyceps are, how they work, if they're a threat to humans, if they'll ever become a threat to humans and should we be worried about people trying to genetically modify them in the first place? There is a lot to unpack so let's discuss! Check out our YouTube channel! Check out Gabby's YouTube channel! Check out Brenna's YouTube channel! Check out our Patreon! From DNA to Doppelgänger: The Science Behind Cloning Pets

In today's episode, we dive into the science behind the cloning of pets! After falling down a TikTok rabbit hole, I dug into how it actually works, what it costs, and whether it’s ethical… or just a really convincing illusion. Is this a second chance at spending more time with your soul mate, or is it science that has gone too far? We break down how pet cloning actually works, from DNA to surrogate mothers, and explore the ethics, cost, and emotional reality behind it. Is it really bringing your pet back… or just creating a copy? What does cloning mean for our future? Let's discuss! Check out our YouTube channel! Check out Gabby's YouTube channel! The Mystery of The Confederate Sub

Submarines are the silent hunters of the deep. From the large nuclear-powered boats of today’s navies, to the German U-Boats of the First and Second World Wars, these machines hidden beneath the waves can change the course of history. In the United States, the first submersible was the Turtle with an egg-shaped hull designed by David Bushnell. This hand-powered submarine was used in a failed attempt to sink the British ship HMS Eagle in New York Harbor in 1776. Nearly one hundred years later the HL Hunley, a submarine built by the Confederate States of America, would become the first to sink an enemy vessel during the American Civil War. Do You Have An Inner Voice?

Have you ever “heard” yourself talk in your head? If you have, then you’ve experienced a common phenomenon called an internal monologue. Also referred to as “internal dialogue,” “the voice inside your head,” or an “inner voice,” your internal monologue is the result of certain brain mechanisms that cause you to “hear” yourself talk in your head without actually speaking and forming sounds. While an internal monologue is a common occurrence, not everyone experiences it. There’s a lot that researchers have yet to uncover about why some people frequently “hear” an inner voice, and what it means. Over time the cult began to emphasize the imminence of the end of the world and stated that the United States would initiate Armageddon by starting World War III with Japan.
