It offer something that online content or written guides cannot provide, a face-to-face connection and interaction with people. They allow us to break down complex ideas about Hive ecosystem in a simple and interactive way. Instead of just giving people written guides and expecting them to figure it out on their own, we walk with them step by step. People ask questions, share their doubts and concerns, and some even bring their phones and other devices so we can teach them and practice how to open a Hive account, make transactions with HBD, scan QR codes, claim discounts, and navigate the Hive blockchain. This interaction helps people to gain confidence quickly, because they don't just learn, they learn by doing. Another reason why workshops are so powerful is because of they community atmosphere they create. It is not just one person learning, but a group of people connecting, sharing ideas, and growing together. Some attendees even return the following week with testimonies of their first purchase using HBD, while some others even bring along their friends and family members. And just like that, the community continues to grow. In addition, we are also able to identify the challenges people we onboarded are facing, whether it is a lack of understanding, difficulty in using the hive interface, and other issues that may arise. We respond to these challenges without hesitation, which means the people leave feeling supported and not abandoned. Workshops are the most effective way to promote SpendHBD and HIve because people don't just hear, they see how it works, ask questions, get trained on the spot, and even m, make their first transactions right there with us. Whether I'm trying to loosen old braids, make new ones, or just wash and comb my hair, it always take a lot of time and energy. Sometimes, I even end up spending the whole day doing my hair, and it still carries over to the next day. It's even more difficult because I have natural hair. I have never used relaxers or texturizers to soften it. Detangling takes forever, and sitting for hours can be so tiring. In this mini vlog, I show the process of me loosening my cornrows. In this video, you can see me attending to a customer. I helped her choose the best products that suited her needs and gave her honest suggestions so she could make the right choices. After picking out her items, I checked her out , explained the total amount to her, and made sure everything was correct. She wanted to pay with HBD and it was her first time of shopping with Hbd , so I helped her complete the payment smoothly without any issues. I also reminded her about her discount and made sure she got it after completing her purchase. She was very pleased with the service and kept smiling throughout. At the end, she said she was so happy that she wanted us to take some pictures together. It felt good knowing I made her day better. It wasn't a quick in and out kind of errand, we spent hours moving from one supplier to another, checking for freshness, quality, and the best prices. We managed to get a good number of the items on our list, and our customers loved them. Was it stressful? Absolutely. But it was worth it 100%. Between responsibilities, work, school, and family, we often forget to take care of ourself. Self-care isn’t always about facials, vacations, or spa days, sometimes, it is simply about pausing for a moment to breathe and do something for you. I realized I had gone months without making my hair. It wasn’t that I didn’t want to look good or take care of myself, it was just that life kept getting in the way. I can't even remember the time I sat down to have my hair properly braided. So over the weekend, I decided to take a few days off to get my hair done. My hair wasn’t done in a day, it took three full days to complete. There were a few delays and interruptions along the way (as expected), but I was determined not to let anything stop me this time. Materials Needed A piece of fabric A hand needle Sewing thread Two safety pins A measuring tape A cloth band Step-by-Step Instructions: Using a measuring tape, I measure and cut a piece of fabric 25 inches long and 3½ inches wide (25 × 3½ inches). I fold the fabric in half along the width, making the new width 1¾ inches, while the length remains 25 inches. I sew along the open edge using a needle and thread, but I leave a 1-inch opening at both ends to insert the cloth band later. After sewing, I turn the fabric right-side out through one of the openings I left earlier. I carefully align the two ends of the fabric and sew them together, ensuring that the 1-inch openings remain unsewn. I measure 8 inches of the cloth band and attach a safety pin to one end. Using the safety pin, I thread the band through the fabric tube. To prevent the band from slipping inside, I use another safety pin to secure the other end to the fabric while I continue threading. Once I have pulled the band through, I bring both ends of the band together and sew them securely. Finally, I stitch up the opening in the fabric carefully. And that’s it! Your scrunchie is ready to use!
