This week Dunc & Mo are back with another Shits and Gig-gles Vol. 3, we dive into one of the biggest questions in rock and metal — when does a band stop being the band?From legendary acts with rotating lineups to bands carrying on with only one original member, we debate whether some groups are still authentic or just trading on the name. This week Dunc is joined by a returning Paudie. We are looking back on Nirvanas 1991 iconic album Nevermind. An album that changed the landscape musically of the 1990's and changed pop culture as a whole. It was a fun look back on an album that is loved by young and old. What is your favourite track off the album? Would you consider Nevermind to be one of the most influential album of not just the 90's but of all time?

This week Dunc & Mo look back on Green Day's breakthrough album Dookie. Filled with melodic punk hooks, nostalgia and humour. It was a transcending album that inspired so many iconic bands to come like Sum 41 and Blink 182 to mention a few. What are your thoughts on this one?   

This week Dunc & Mo are joined by returning guest Big Jim as they look back at Metallica's 2nd studio Album Ride The Lightning. This is the album that proved Metallica wasn’t just fast and aggressive, but visionary on how metal was going to be. Ride the Lightning is the album that all Metallica fans cherish and some may think is the best they did. Is this your favourite album? This week Dunc & Mo sit down to discuss two of the most iconic Unplugged sessions, Nirvana and Alice in Chains. MTV Unplugged was supposed to make bands feel more approachable. Somehow Nirvana and Alice in Chains made it feel more like group therapy. There were highs and lows, but both shows seem like the swansong for both bands in an eerie way. Which one was your favourite? 

We are back in 2026 with a Bang!! This episode we look back to Metallica's 2008 album Death Magnetic. An album that brought back a sound of old with a modern twist. It has some bangers on it along with some fillers, but are the songs too long? What is your thoughts on this one? Did Metallica get it right?

This week, Dunc & Mo dove headfirst into a wall of distortion, guitar layering, and fantastically unhinged guitar solos as we revisited the Smashing Pumpkins' 1993 masterpiece, Siamese Dream. From the stadium-sized angst of “Cherub Rock” to the moonlit emotion of “Luna,” we look at Billy Corgan on his quest to make the most beautifully chaotic album of the ‘90s. So much to unpack on this one, we could not stop talking about it. What are your thoughts on Siamese Dream? A Dream or a Nightmare?

This week Dunc & Mo start to take a look to the Grunge scene. Before delving further into the bands and their music we look to the singers and chat about who brought the best vocals to the forefront. We were spoilt for choice back in the 90's with Kurt, Eddie, Chris, Layne, Billy & Scott..... They call it the Big 4 with Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden & Alice in Chains... Was there room to make it the Big 6 with STP & the Pumpkins? 

This week Dunc & Mo discuss Deftones 1997 Album Around the Fur. Even with Dunc having technical issues and Mo misplacing his notes, the craic was had and looked back on a an album that defined the Deftones reputation as more than just a nu-metal band—they were boundary-pushers. From mellow to metal, whisper to a scream, this album takes you on a rollercoaster ride. 

From Slayer to RHCP's, Papa Roach to Green Day, the 2000's brought us so many great rock albums. This week, Dunc & Mo look back to the early part of the 2000's with 8 albums that they feel were impactful on the music industry and, or just their own lives in general. What albums from this era do you love? This week Dunc & Mo took on the task to try break down and review RATM's 1996 album Evil Empire with their wise uneducated opinions. Unlike the debut album, which had a heavier focus on riff-driven songs, Evil Empire incorporates more groove-oriented and experimental sounds. But with all the political and social issues that they are passionate about. 

This Week Dunc & Mo look to some of the great songs Metal & Rock bands cover. We look at some mixtures of old classic's covered by newer and older bands. From Metallica tackling some punk to a classic like Smooth Criminal taking on a modern twist. What would you look to as being a great cover or are there any that you think are down right dirt!!
