Notes from the Underground

Fyodor Dostoyevskys brilliant short masterpiece delves into the mind of a ranting, slightly unhinged civil servant. With its striking stylistic inventiveness and sharp insights into the absurdities and frailties of human nature, this work feels remarkably contemporary. If it were published today, it would undoubtedly be hailed as an avant-garde post-modern triumph.
