Now We're Thinking is a comedy podcast that makes the best out of any conversation with jokes, scenarios, and much more. If you love comedy, especially with a group of friends then this is the place for you. But if you can't take a joke, sarcasm, and/or explicit language this is not for you. We are just a bunch of friends who think about the best and funny in every situation and as well as making our own scenarios with improv, jokes, and our thoughts straight from our brains.     Come Back Season The Wendover Trip Pt. 2 | Ep. 34

    In today’s episode, we have the whole gang Oscar, Justen, and Alonso. We start the episode with Alonso’s bad juju he’s been experiencing. We also shared the beginning of the Wendover trip and our journey getting there for a different storybook ending. The boyz finally arrive at Wendover but the journey isn’t done as we go through a maze to find the hotel room. Day 1 unfolds as we pregame a little too hard before gambling, we win some and lose some but throughout the night and early morning, Oscar and Justen find themselves battling for life in the hotel room and bathroom while Alonso tries his best to take care of them. As Day 2 rolls around the boys are exhausted as they try to go play roulette, defeat sets in on Day 2 and the boyz find themselves low on food and quickly find a taco truck where Justen gets robbed of all his winnings.

Continuing on sports topics we update you guys with the NBA Playoff Finals as game 1 of the Dallas Mavericks vs The Boston Celtics wrapped up, Kristaps Porziņģis and The Celtics rinse out the Mavericks in game 1 to take the lead as we react and predict what the Mavericks have to do to win the next following games. Oscar and Justen break it down for Alonso on how the NBA finals and games work to declare a champion. We look back in the past years on the best moments of the NBA finals discuss our favorite moments and react to some highlights. Oscar states how LeBron James may be the first player in NBA history to have his jersey retired on each team he’s played in when he retires. Is the Drake curse real? Drakes bet $500,000 on the Dallas Mavericks. Justen explains what Baccarat is ( gambling ). We transition into the entertainment news as we watch Venom The Last Dance trailer and react to it, theorizing what the plot could be. we discuss what should be in the movie, as well as what the future can hold for Venom. Oscar breaks down the Easter eggs and highlights of the trailer anything that stood out and explains what it could mean or connected to. Fun Fact, the character Spider-Man was purchased by Sony from Marvel for $7 million. Justen makes a connection from the Venom movie to a movie called Edge of Tomorrow. In the Marvel news, Avengers 5 will feature over 60 characters in the next Avengers movie. We discussed what we would love to see in the movie and who we didn’t want (Madem Web). Alonso and Oscar watched Godzilla Minus One on Netflix and we break it down for you (spoilers) they talked about it with Justen and rated the movie, discussed what was good about it and what we didn’t like. We compare this Godzilla to the other Godzilla from Kong vs. Godzilla, explaining the story, and what they learned about Godzilla in this movie.     The big three Justen, Alonso, & Oscar are back in this episode to discuss Alonso’s recent Lasix eye surgery. He explains the process of what he went through, the cost of surgery, recovery, and etc. The boyz get into a heated debate from the movie ( Spoiler Review) Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. Justen breaks it down that sending signals and messages to another planet like Mars wouldn’t be instantaneous and it would take time while Alonso was preaching his idea and thought about the ending scene. We discuss what we like and don’t like about the movie as well as predictions of what the next 5 upcoming movies could be and where the story can go. We show our love for Cesar a great protagonist and wonder if Cesar’s ways will continue on throughout the 5 upcoming movies. We take a trip back to the previous 3 movies from the Planet of the Apes Saga and summarize the story and see how far this franchise has come, what we liked about it, and what made it great. As well as compare the new movies to the old movies and how different they are. Oscar and Justen talk about the 2024 NBA Finals match-up, Dallas Mavericks vs. Boston Celtics. Who you got? We share who we want to win and how the finals could unfold. Oscar says he’s happy that the new generation of NBA players like Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Luka Doncic are in the finals and have a chance to win their first Championship. We react to the new Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn bucket. As well as A Quiet Place Day One movie releasing soon and our thoughts of the 2 previous ones. Justen and Oscar confront and have an intervention with Alonso. In Marvel News, Giancarlo Esposito will be a villain in the upcoming 2025 “Captain America Brave New World”. Justen and Alonso discuss Inglorious Bastards, as well as The Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas, which is closing down after 34 years. Gambling in Utah is not allowed, so why do we must go to Wendover, Nevada to gamble? To wrap it up and get the brain working we ask, If you won the lottery what would you do with $500 Million?

    The Wendover Trip | Ep. 21

    The boyz are joined today with a fellow friend, Elijah Duran. The boyz got set loose for a wild and fun night gambling at Wendover, Nevada. We discussed how much we were up and who lost the house. We share the highlights of that night of gambling as we hit the casino’s bar, tables (roulette, poker, and blackjack), and slots. We discuss how we feel about gambling as well as the games we dislike and like. We breakdown our the game plan we had going into that night and the search for the Rich Little Piggies. Towards the end of the gambling night two guys were left standing and leading the charge, Elijah and Alonso share the end of that night’s story as they finish off by playing roulette. Elijah tells his story of how he met each one of us and how our friendship shaped him and taught him things that made him part of who he is now. He shares his core memories with each one of us he’s had as well as explaining the surgery he had on his knee while playing rugby. Elijah enlightens us with the fun and unforgettable adventures he’s been on with the love of his life. Alonso wonders if hanging out with an older crowd of friends ( Oscar and Justen) shaped and helped Elijah become and find who he is today. And In News This Week, marijuana overtakes drinking in the United States for the first time. In Marvel News, Elijah tells us information about the upcoming movie Venom 3 and what to expect as well as discussing the rumors of what the plot for Venom 3 could look like and what we would love to see! Oscar wants to know if Elijah has played the Spider-Man 2 insomniac game as well as getting his thoughts and input on the Drake vs Kendrick Lamar rap beef. Who’s your favorite Spider-Man? Elijah describes and shares his tattoos as well as explains the meaning behind each one of them. We love to see Elijah happy as he talks about the love of his life as well as telling us the best stories he's had with her and many more to come. We wrap up with having a deep conversation about life, the hardships we each deal with, and how being friends with one another helped us grow as men. We should be more open to discussing the personal things we go through with our close friends and family in this journey we call life.

    This episode is one of our wildest ones yet. We start it off by congratulating our good friend Brandon Hernandez on soon-to-be father to a baby boy and his upcoming baby shower. Justen brings up a trip idea to Lake Powell as Oscar wonders where’s that at. Do sharks swim up streams to lakes? Are all rivers and lakes connected to the ocean? Oscar ponders. When having kids would you like to have a baby boy or a baby girl first? As we discuss what we’ll want and why. How tall is the tallest man? We switch over to the world of Video Games as we talk about the upcoming GTA 6 Video game releasing Fall of 2025 and take a gander at the past of our favorite video games we played growing up and the first consoles we had in our childhood. As well as the new Assassin's Creed video game, we take a trip back in time to share our favorite ones. Switching through entertainment we talk movies as Madam Web is on Netflix (11% rotten tomatoes) if you want to watch it and see why it got the rating it did, feel free to watch it or not it’s up to you. Spider-Man Noir is in development at Sony, Nicolas Cage has been casted for the role of Noir in the live-action movie. Oscar explains the origins of Spider-Man Miles Morales and how he came to be. As well as a Deadpool and Wolverine Update, the run time is officially 2 hours and 7 minutes. Should movies be longer? We discuss our thoughts about the movie’s run times as well as letting you know tickets will be releasing soon. A Movie spoiler-free review, Oscar reviews, and explains the new movie Kingdom of the Planet of The Apes, we share our favorite planet of the apes movie. Alonso pitches the idea, is it a good thing for Marvel to make 9 solo-focused hero movies like the Planet of the Apes is planning on doing with its franchise but with Marvel focused on one character like Spider-Man, Iron Man, or Deadpool? The boyz plan their trip to Wendover. Fun fact, Justen has never gambled in a casino and this will be his first time. We transition into the thinking part of the episode by wondering If you could talk to any animal what animal would you talk to? Three wolves vs the three of us, who would survive? If an animal can describe us what animal would we be? We come up and decide what animal best fits us. And to wrap up this episode we go to Ask A Thinker; Y'all get stranded on an island, who dies first? Lastly, If a mom gave birth to a child overseas on a plane what nationality would the child be?

    The Big Steppers Don't Slip: Why Kendrick Lamar Won The Rap Beef | Ep. 19

    In this episode, the whole gang is here including our good friend Alex. To start this episode off we would like to give thanks to Kendrick Lamar and Drake for removing copyrights to their diss songs, now we can listen and react to them with you guys live on this week’s episode. Now it’s time to think, Is this Rap War finally over? We put a bow to this week’s rap news by seeing maybe the end of Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s Rap Beef as well as getting Alonso’s input on their previous diss tracks they released last week. We listen and break down Meet The Grahams, They Not Like Us, and The Heart Part 6. We try to break it down and bring up the rumors that surround this entire rap war as well as getting into a heavy discussion about all that has unfolded. Collectively we decided that Kung Fu Kenny won by obliterating this man Drizzy and winning the rap beef as well. Of course, we had to rank all of Kendrick's and Drake’s diss tracks from Best to Worst. While the beef was being served there was also a roast that happened this week, The Roast of Tom Brady as we look at the highlights that came from that night. In sports news, Oscar shares his story about his intense basketball game that took place last week it came down to double overtime but wasn't able to come out on top, but this time it’s a different story as he and the Dream Team team bounced back this week to win a very close game. In other news, Justen brings up the video of Arnold Schwarzenegger getting drop-kicked while making a Snapchat video. We stay on course with sports news to talk about the Canelo vs. Munguia fight, who did you have winning that fight? As well as diving into Canelo’s precious fights and seeing him go toe to toe with TRIPLE G. We wrap the episode up with a new segment on the podcast called “Ask A Thinker.” Q: Who are your guy’s idols? And what are your biggest motivations in life?
