In this episode, we get inspired by Bindu Suresh, who sees change as opportunity: whether she is seeking it or it just happens. Growing up in a family of doctors, she chose to be a writer.  She then chose to challenge herself again, and entered medical school. Does this change in direction lead her on a completely different path? In our first episode, we chat with Leo Teatero about his experiences with moving, and his thoughts on this enormous change. If, like him, you’ve moved across the world, you know how daunting it can be, especially when you need to learn the language and the culture. Leo grew up in rural Ontario, lived for a long time in Montreal, and recently left it all for the south of France. As an event planner he brings years of organizing experience to the task of moving, but we were surprised to learn there were still challenges. We had so much fun talking to Leo and are so happy he agreed to be our first guest. We hope you enjoy OliveUsMoving with Leo!

Being open and candid is hard. Maybe it’s how we were raised, the things we have lived through, or the hurt we’ve experienced. All of those elements make it hard to open up and put it all out there. But as we develop this podcast, and learn from others we want OliveourStories to lead us to push our boundaries. This podcast is a creative project for us, a bonding exercise and cathartic. In the end, we produced a nearly 26 minute package that showcases our goofiness and our friendship.
