2025 was a pretty wild year for the two Adams. Lots of matches, lots of classes, lots of rounds down range, and some important lessons learned. In the first week of the new year we take a quick peak back at the last 12 months. 

If you're going to do any shooting past 100 yards, then you need to really understand what your bullet is doing as it travels out into the world. We're back where On The Perf started—recording at PCSL 2 Gun Nationals. This time the Adams shot the main match to have a real go at it. There was sickness, broken guns, occluded dots, and all kinds of shenanigans. Neither Adam feels redeemed, and you can find out why.  

Maxwell got a deer, and Riser got the Flu, but we're still gonna sit down and record an episode for everyone. Today we talk a bit about match etiquette—some of the dos and don'ts of how to conduct yourself at the range. Plus, a bit of shit talk just for fun. 

On today's episode, we cover all the dos and don'ts of being a great RO. If you want to volunteer (and you should), then this is your road map on how to do it well and what to watch out for.

Maxwell goes to Area 2 in Phoenix, barely makes major, aims hard a lots of zebra targets, does a bit of one-handed shenanigans, and wins a fat stack of belt cash. 

Riser flies down to Texas to compete in the Vortex Shootout. There was a tornado, torrential rain, stage wins, a DQ, and un-DQ, and a full-on survival day preceding his best finish of the season. This one was epic. 

On this episode, Maxwell breaks down all things USPSA Race Gun Nationals in St George Utah including the world's scariest make ready, staged-mag long courses, some dude who came down the Idaho to take over the world, and whether or not you should drive home in the 1990 Corvette that you won from shooting concealed. Plus, Riser makes Maxwell laugh so hard that he cries, so that's always good. 

Riser flies out to North Carolina to shoot Memorial 3 Gun. Long range, huge shotgun stages, hard pistol shots, option stages, and a good cry with an RO, this match had it all. Plus, Brian Nelson once again solves 3 gun, Adam finds out that 6x is too much for movers, and the day's Gary learns about steel shot.
