What Makes You a Pro? Letting go of academia is one of the toughest things to master as a professional, whether you are in the arts or not. We’ve noticed you really enjoy our relationship videos, so we decided to do another one! This is a subject that we don’t have much personal experience in, but have heard horror stories from actual participants. Online dating seems to have become a gamified way for some to just “hook up” with people with no intention of forming a rewarding relationship. Why are we doing this? There was one show that taught us everything we needed to know about producing a burlesque show. It was Bunny Brigade, a tribute to the Playboy Bunnies. In this episode we share some of the roadblocks we experienced while trying to bring this show to the stage as well as why we put it in the vault and no longer produce burlesque. If I can say so myself, this was decidedly high art in a low-brow art form that could have even been syndicated. I wish you could have been there. It was, unquestionably one of my all-time favorite collaborations. Oh, how I wish I could share the whole thing with you. An understated and tragically underestimated (by venue owners) masterwork.
