Kyle Lalone is a Rock of Recovery! OLAAT 29

This week's guest is guitarist and songwriter Kyle Lalone! I have known Kyle for many years and it was great to be able to have a conversation this candid and honest on the show. We both spent years living in New York City before moving to LA, and both went through serious struggles before coming into recovery. We reminisce about old times, talk about the what's going on in the current day, and even play one of Kyle's original songs together in the studio. Great talk!Pardon the delay on this episode- producer Adrian and I have been on tour for the last 3 weeks and we didn't think it would be this hectic to try and edit and upload full episodes of the pod every week. The goal is to resume a weekly Monday schedule after this week, so keep your eyes peeled. And as always, thanks for tuning in and please don't hesitate to reach out for any questions or comments to [email protected] Kyle Lalone  ⁨@klalone81986⁩  Elyadeen Anbar  ⁨@anbarmusic⁩  Adrian Vega  ⁨@STRIPEDBEATLE⁩  Special thanks to Dustin Knouse // HOK studios

Season 1 Reflections/ Living the Life You Want to Live

What a ride the last few months have been! I wanted to look back at all the great things I've gotten to experience by talking to people on One Leg, and how grateful I am for what I've learned so far. I also want to talk a bit about what it means to be in 'recovery' and how ultimately, my primary objective is to help people gather tools for themselves based on the wisdom of folks who work really hard and are willing to share their experience.Season two of the show will begin streaming in May. I want to take time to do an overhaul of the production vallue based on what I've learned doing this guerilla-style of podcasting on location and working with minimal tools. I'm really excited for what's to come and can't wait to share with you. So as always, thank you for watching and see you soon!

Calinnah is an Unstoppable Force of Nature! OLAAT 5

This week I had the honor of sitting down with Long Beach based artist and absolute force of nature, Calinnah! Her message of consistency, planning, staying organized and being humble resonated with me and inspired me. She also dropped a whole bunch of book recommendations so for anyone like myself who gets a lot out of helpful literature, listen up.Calinnah on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzG7TV1pU68BzcqHhf-C5VQCalinnah on Spotify:https://open.spotify.com/artist/77jJxXfZKy06Jp78C0p9di?si=Uizo_TigQX-cyq87D2pz8Q&nd=1&dlsi=93d5c766dad8474dCalinnah on IG:https://www.instagram.com/calinnah/

Harry Terrell Talks the Talk and Walks the Walk! OLAAT 3

I am very excited to present my first full length interview featuring none other than a wonderful friend, international superstar and all around great human, Harry Terrell! From making bagels to writing fantastic songs, there seems to be nothing Harry can't do. We start out reminiscing about New York City (fond memories of BandH deli,) talk about music, talk about life and health and wealth and relationships and everything in between. This was a very relaxed conversation and it was great to get to know more about his background, in addition to sharing with him some of darker points of my story. We spoke on an unseasonably warm afternoon in the hills of Encino following a pretty luxurious lunch, and those things factored in for an easy and candid conversation. I was surprised by how comfortable I felt discussing my own addiction and the history of my substance use as well as rediscovering my health and sense of purpose and how those things became even stronger while I was out on tour. Listening back to this talk also made me realize that I still haven't figured out how to articulate the profound effect that taking care of my body has had for me. Health and fitness are more than the sum of the aesthetic results, but staying disciplined has offered a deeper sense of gratitude and purpose that I feel I get to participate in every time I move my body. I'm only now seeing that I need to dedicate some more work to properly express these details because these are fundamental to the themes of my programming. So in that sense, this has already been a learning experience as well as just a fun talk with a friend, and I'm looking forward to getting deeper into the work with you all. Catch Harry on the Still Woozy tour, his solo project and his band Breathing Effect, all very cool projects!
