Welcome! I’m so glad you’ve taken this first step toward seeking support, and I’d like to share a little bit about myself and how I can help.I am a native of Virginia Beach where I live with my husband, our cocker spaniel and a spunky little white-capped pionus parrot. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, biking, listening to live music, taking photographs, and learning about (and buying!) new tech gadgets.I went to James Madison University in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Virginia where I majored in biology and minored in psychology. After working for a pediatric geneticist for a few years, I went to Norfolk State University where I earned my master’s degree in social work.I have worked in a variety of clinical settings including pediatric hospice, a program for adults infected or affected by HIV, a homelessness prevention program, Jewish Family Services and private practice with a group and now on my own.https://attune
