    Understanding climate justice

Our Green Mosaic showcases a vibrant mosaic of solutions for bold climate action that tackles systemic oppression and inequality. Together, we can raise awareness of climate justice and transform it into positive climate action.   In this episode, we talk about why climate justice has to be intersectional in order to be effective. We delve into sexism, classism, racism, ableism, homophobia and transphobia to illustrate how the climate crisis makes marginalised groups more vulnerable to its impacts, and why climate justice has to be inclusive. If climate action isn't intersectional, it is incomplete at best and harmful at worst.   Key Sources: Sister Outsider by Audre Lorde (1984), linked here.
