This challenge was to create a video game epic soundtrack which should be related to the last boss we need to fight at the end of a stage. I like the result, but I'm not 100% confident it could be used in a video game. Cover artwork: Midjourney

February 2026 Challenge "Les Challengers". The challenge was to use only objects from our house, using sampling and effects in order to create music. So I used a clock, a glass pot, a metallic pot, a wooden spoon, a straw hat, keys, a dog toy, metallic fences, a tape deck, a chair, my heating machine, a vacuum machine... and many more objects from my house. This sounds quiet lo-fi with modern arrangements. I like the result, I hope you too. Enjoy the result!

In this January challenge "Desert / Rings into Clouds", the idea was to use granular synthesis or FX and physical modelling. The reference should ba a chosen desert, in my case I choose "Dacht-e Lout" (Désert de Lout, Plain of Emptiness), a UNESCO desert in south-east of Iran. Probably the hottest known desert... My inspiration was also different games and movies like Diablo II, Prince of Persia, Command and Conquer Generals (with GLA army), and of course Arrakis on Dune (1984) Fata Morgana is a kind of optical mirage you can get. November 2025 This challenge was creating a 5 min drone music starting from a unique note (here F#), from a simple synth sound, no chord, but a lot of effects. As constraint I decided to do this with only Logic Pro stock native plugins and synth. This is in fact my real first drone creation, in this specific way. July 2025 Composed for a short contest where it was needed to write a solo on a given chords grid, on a given synth wave backtrack. This version is a full recomposed jazzy style track, which I did first to write the solo, then it was converted for the contest on the original backtrack.

May 2025 "Groovebox Four" Challenge. This track was made with only 4 tracks (4 instruments), including the drums. 1 track must be monophonic, and actually 2 of them are as fully arpeggiated. A lot of automations applied to the tracks with different FX. Cover: Midjourney

This track has been produced in a few hours for a very short noticed 1-day challenge (303-day) Full DAW (Logic Pro) production, using mainly Roland TB-303, TR-606, and Kilohearts Phaseplant plugins. Partially, some few extra external or stock plugins also used. To save time only pre-existing presets were used. And yes… this is raw, without any mix or any other mastering. Maybe this was inspired close or far from existing music, then this is just my automated inspiration from what I was listening in the 90’s (Astral projection, Transwave…) Art cover: Midjourney

Second remix of "Shallow Brains" (Dogs and Cables / Knarf) for "Les Sondiers Focal Woodbrass 2022" Contest. Not really serious remix... and the mix is raw. Done (very) quickly in a few hours (reusing previous mix midi tracks) while testing some new plugins I got. So it is an experimental mix. But finally, it sounds not so bad.
