Donald would invite them into their home to watch over the kids. When her father died in 2013, Lucy would go to the media to tell her story, while her sister Susan claimed that Lucy was a liar. However, Lucy's stepsisters believed that Donald had killed their mother Charlotte Studey as well as his previous wife Lucy. Donald's sister Marilyn Kepler, who was arrested for attempted murder would write a book about her life, accusing Donald of killing many, including two that she watched. While the FBI got involved and excavations ensued at the property they grew up on, no bodies have been found.
