    Scared of 'being sales-ey?' It's costing you

    Being 'sales-ey'. Let's talk about it.  Actions aren't 'sales-ey'. Sending a DM isn't 'sales-ey'. Sending a voicenote - also not 'sales-ey'. Can they be? Definitely.  But it's not the action that defines the feeling. It's how you do it.    In this episode of Owning It, I explore one of the biggest blocks that stops business owners from selling confidently- the fear of being “salesy.” You'll hear me challenge the idea that selling is pushy, awkward, or something to avoid, and help you reframe selling as a powerful and necessary part of running a business. If you have a business, it's your job to sell unapologetically and powerfully. Fear of being sales-ey makes that impossible. That 'sales-ey' fear isn't about the action itself. You get to be in charge of it by how you feel.  I share a specific example of amazing selling I've recently encountered and walk you through this powerful example of how direct selling can feel generous, human and deeply compelling when it comes from genuine connection.   You'll also have a process to see how you define being 'sales-ey' and see where it might be stopping you from growing your business the way you want.     Episode 8 - The 4 Questions every Buyer asks before they buy

    If your marketing answers these four questions, people stop lurking and start buying. In this episode I break down the four questions running through every prospect’s head and show you how to bake them into your content and sales process so buyers take action. You'll learn how to call out your best client, prove your approach works, map the steps so it feels tangible, and reframe “sacrifice” as a smart investment.     Feeling stuck? Try these 3 things

    You don't need accountability. You don't need an external coach or programme to 'hold you accountable'. What's missing? Self trust. Structure. Belief. Motivation. Feeling compelled to do it. Being the person who shows up, does the thing on their calendar and follows through. In this episode I explore my three ingredients for keeping in, and staying in, positive, forwards motion in your business.  You'll learn the difference between overworking and productive working.  You'll see how to think about your business, yourself and your actions in a way that helps you do things and mess up - because that's how you learn. You'll see how to troubleshoot if you're ever feeling stuck, unsure or confused about what to do - or how to do it.     Make money - without spending all your time growing your social medias

    To start making more money and sales - and keep doing it - you've got to do certain things. You'll need to have something people can buy from you. Services or a product. You'll need to find the people who want it, and then talk to them about it. You'll need a way to get them to take action and buy. That's it. What you don't need? Thousands and thousands of followers or people in your audience. Don't get me wrong - having 'an' audience and adding to it will never be a bad move in business. BUT you don't require huge amounts of people to sell very effectively. If you do these things that I'll show you in the episode. 1 - Know your people well. Just one person or the 'types' of people that they are. What they really love and what they need right now. What would make them happy and what solution they're really looking for. 2. Understanding how to offer your services - and communicate what they'll get. And do that many, many times. Wherever your people are. Creating your services FOR them because of what they've told you they need, instead of doing it BEFORE you know. Big difference! 3. Making a lot of offers to people - either one to one (through a message, a conversation, a sales call) or one to many (landing pages, email lists, website, social media posts, video) When you understand these foundations, selling more and making more money right now becomes the outcome to your actions - not something you have to worry about.
