Please enjoy my latest offering to you all. It is another seagoing inspired track. Over the years I have seen many deep ocean whales in their natural setting but only once have I seen a pod and it was awesome. There must of been at least twenty of them spread across the bow at distance. I immediately reported my sightings to the captain who immediately stopped engines. He went on to explain that in this situation you have two choices you can go hard to starboard or port depending on our postion relative to the whales course or simply stop the engines and take in the view explaining the chances of seeing another pod this large is very remote. this all happened long before smartphones came along so we had no way of recording the event. This took place when I was nineteen and I am now 71 and it is a memory that has stayed with me all these years. So I say to all our fantastic young people .... You are at the stage in your life were you are creating your memories .... .don't waste a minute. Thank you all for the great support you give me.... love and peace.. Firstly I would like to say, all those suffering with Psoriatic arthritis .. I TOTALLY GET IT !!!! I had my first flare up a few months back and it stopped me dead in my tracks !!!! . I could'nt open a tin of beans never mind play anything. Luckily I got my shot (which made me feel like I was 20 again) which lasted long enough for the medication to kick in and now things seem to have calmed down a great deal. fingers crossed !!! I started tracking this one about 4 months ago but never got it finished. FINALLY its finished I hope you all enjoy it. Just somthing easy going to get started again. When I first heard this I instantly picked up a blusey mid eastern flavour to it and decided to pick up on that theme. I used Pauls track "Remember" in it's entirety with no edits to do some post production work around it, picking up on that eastern vibe I was getting !! Whilst transfering files from my laptop to my new computer I came across this unfinished project I'd started just before the first lockdown. Then along with my other problems concerning my hearing this was another that got put on hold. Originally written for a vocal which because of life sadly did'nt work out I decided to add some guitar, a string ensemble and a horn section to fill out the sound. I'm happy I found it. I started work on this track almost 2 years ago just as we were going into lockdown. Unfortunately I developed a hearing problem in my left ear that required surgery so had to take a step back, can you imagine no music throughout lockdown!!!!!!! anyhow finally things are good now, thankfully. Taking a stab at some electronic dance energy on this one, although out of my comfort zone a little, I hope you enjoy!!.....<3<3<3 Electrodance is a frenetic and quirky form of street dance typically performed to electro house music. It is based on, although is not limited to, a blend of different dance styles, such as industrial dance, moroccan chaabi, disco, vogue, waacking, hip-hop and freehand glowsticking. As a young boy of about 8, I had a dream about floating up into the sky and as I got higher I began to soar through the clouds looking back at our beautiful planet. Not an uncommon dream I'm told. I have had that dream a handful of times throughout my life. I recall there being music in my dream but when awake could never recall the melody. This track resonates with me and may be close. It all started with a guitar loop I have in my software which the whole track is built around. the loop runs from about 33 secs in.
