    Our guest today is Dr Ryan Olson, a Professor of Occupational Health Psychology at the Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational and Environmental Health at the University of Utah. During his applied science career, Dr Olson has developed and evaluated many uniquely effective workplace programs to reduce stress, reduce injury, hazards, improve health, promoting behavior such as sleep, exercise, diet and improve well being.     Wellness through Yoga

    Today our guest is Charlotte Bell, who has been practicing yoga since 1982, and began teaching in 1986. She has established and taught regular classes along Utah's Wasatch Front, and in California, and Hawaii and also teaches workshops, teacher trainings, and yoga for cancer patients and their families at Huntsman Cancer Institute here at the U. She has taught at national yoga conferences and international yoga teacher trainings, and on women's river trips on the Green and Colorado rivers.     Phillip Bimstein

    A conversation with Phillip Bimstein.  A former mayor of Springdale, Utah outside Zion National Park, Bimstein is an Emmy award-winning musician and composer threaded through many genres, including classical, experimental, punk rock, and folk music. His alternative classical compositions have been performed by soloists, chamber ensembles and orchestras, at, among other venues, Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln and Kennedy Centers, and the Spoleto and Aspen Festivals, among others. A certified mindfulness teacher, he designs and teaches unique arts and humanities courses at the University of Utah's Honors College.     Season 2 Episode 8: Analyzing Modern Spiritual Wellness with Reverend Cindy Solomon-Klebba

     Rev. Cindy Solomon-Klebba serves as a Chaplain for the Spiritual Wellness Program at the University of Utah. A human rights advocate, historian, minister, and educator, she has served in ordained ministry for nearly three decades.  With a B.A. and M.A. in History from the University of Colorado (Colorado Springs), Rev. Solomon-Klebba spent over a decade working with behavior-challenged students in Colorado, advocating for student rights and the dignity of all students.Currently completing her PhD in History at the University of Utah, she also teaches courses in women’s history, U.S. history, and gender studies. Her ministry experience spans several states, and she has spoken at numerous rallies and conferences, championing social change and legal rights for oppressed communities.      Kyle Bradford JonesKyle Bradford Jones, MD, FAAFP is a board certified Family Physician. He received his bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and sciences from Utah State University, and obtained his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2009. Dr. Jones completed his residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Utah. His clinical practice is at the Neurobehavior HOME Program, a patient-centered medical home that cares for individuals with developmental disabilities, where he leads the Primary Care Team.      Traci ThompsonTraci Thompson MS, CSCS, ACSM HFD is an Assistant Professor of Health, Kinesiology and Recreation and Nutrition and Integrative Physiology at the University of Utah. She is a Certified Health Fitness Director (HFD) and Certified Cancer Exercise Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).     Britta Trepp MS, ACSM CEP is the Associate Director of PEAK Health and Fitness for Wellness and Integrative Health and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Health, Kinesiology and Recreation. She has worked for the University of Utah since 2009. She earned her Bachelor of Art degree in Kinesiology from Hope College and Master of Science degree in Exercise Science from the University of Utah. In addition to teaching fitness and wellness class pedagogy to her students, she manages the University of Utah employee fitness program as well as Build a Bone, an osteoporosis prevention program, through the L.S. Skaggs Patient Wellness Center.     Survivor WellnessDana Levy // Executive DirectorDana Levy (she/her) joined Survivor Wellness as Program Director in 2021 after a long career in the fields of dance, movement, martial arts and yoga, both in the U.S. and Japan. Survivor Wellness is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1997 as Cancer Wellness House with the mission of providing cancer wellness and integrative health care services and support for cancer survivors, their family members, caregivers and loved ones in a home-like setting. Survivor Wellness is a cancer care community, a sanctuary in the heart of the Salt Lake City.Dana is a certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT), a certified Laban Bartenieff Movement Analyst (CLMA), has a master's degree in modern dance and a nidan (2nd degree black belt) in the Japanese martial art of aikido. She has 30+ years in the fields of choreography, performance, martial arts, and movement education. While living in Tokyo, Dana directed FURLA yoga, a boutique yoga studio in Tokyo, Japan, from 2005-2017. She has taught yoga in Salt Lake City since 2013, training yoga teachers and yoga therapists at local studios, at Salt Lake Community College and at the University of Utah. Dana has worked with Huntsman Cancer Institute since 2019 as an adjunct yoga instructor in the Wellness and Integrative Health Center. She is also the co-chair of the Yoga Therapy Special Interest Group for the Academic Consortium for Medicine and Health.
