Pages from Paige
by Paige B
Short, inspiring true stories of 10 minutes - more or less ! :) I started practicing writing short story forms with a small writer's circle in Minnesota. My focus is on very short, true stories that inspire me, and hopefully others :) Now, after a big move and a lot of settling in, I'm I'm trying out verbal storytelling. This is a big reach for me! I hope to join a storyteller's circle in my new city, but for now I am making audio recording versions of my existing stories to share them to a broader audience, and to practice so that I am good enough to do it live, in person - one day!!! This channel is my New Year's Resolution for 2026, so please be patient as I build up the content. NOTE: Permission from the people inside the stories is always granted before I write or record. :) :) :) ALSO NOTE: If you know a great story you think should be shared, please comment!! I'll reach out and DM you to see if it falls into something I want to practice. </p

"Wife Material"
Pages from Paige is a set of short, inspiring true stories from my life and people I know. I started storytelling in a writer's circle, and now I am challenging myself to revise and record these stories as audio podcasts, to practice storytelling and bring these stories to life in a new way. This is one of my favourites, so I chose it as my first! It is the story of my brother (yes, he knows this exists ;) ) and a fairytale that almost never happened.I hope you enjoy it! Share a comment & tell me what you think! :)
