    Oops All Chaos

If you thought past episodes of Palatable for Plebs were chaotic, strap in as we dive into the chaos that is this stream of consciousness. This time, the rails are non-existent, so at least it's impossible to say we went off them! We chat our philosophy on life and how we approach community building with a pay-it-forward attitude. We also discuss *some* of our thoughts on how we would drastically change the US government and it's violent reach across the globe. Shockingly, these two "recovering Catholics" share many sentiments with the big J himself. Rated E for explicit, because you can channel Jesus and still cuss out the injustices of the world. After our first attempt at wrapping things up, listen to Cheyenne get extremely excited and opinionated about Cabaret - one of their favorite musicals they recommend everyone watch ASAP! Find stage recordings on YouTube and/or the Liza Minnelli adaptation online (or check your local library!!!) Homework: don't be a dick, keep people alive, follow and (quietly) listen to folks listed in the descriptions of our episodes. It's Gonna Be A Rough One

It's been a full week in the new presidential cycle, and things are already bad.  Cheyenne and Geoff hop on the mic with no plan, no notes, no nothing, and discuss federal policy changes from the last few days.  This episode is a little more disorganized than usual. Main Homework: Don't cooperate with ICE. Extra Credit: Think about how you would operate outside of capitalism. What would you do if you didn't have to work to survive? Then try to do some of that in real life, with your community! We forgot to talk about TikTok, Facebook and Instagram as propaganda tools, so use with discretion!! Consider the move to Bluesky, Mastodon, or Red Note. We Have Thoughts About Violence

The murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO, Brian Thompson, sparked a lot of discourse about the state of the US healthcare system.  There's also been a lot of discussion about the general public's reaction to the murder itself.  This made Cheyenne and Geoff think about a brief comment they made in the podcast's first episode, effectively saying, "we have thoughts about violence."  So they figured that now was as good a time as any to start sharing those thoughts. Second Time's the Charm

In their second attempt at recording the first episode, Cheyenne and Geoff quickly get off the rails of their intended introductory topic points.  They eventually discuss their mission statement and target audience, but couldn't help getting straight to the point of the podcast: rattling out their takes for the world to hear. Topics discussed in this episode include, but aren't limited to: Genocide ICE Detention Centers Abortion US Imperialism Gun Violence
