Peaches and Pines Paranormal
by Michael Robison
Coming from the great state of Georgia, like peaches and longleaf pines, I grew up listening to ghost stories and tales of horror in the Southern night. In this show, we will explore the paranormal and tales of the strange, bizarre and terrifying from people across the country. These are your stories. These are the stories, legends and fireside horror stories that I have collected for decades and am still collecting. If you have a tale of terror, be it ghosts, ghouls, vampires, goblins, sasquatch, local legends, real paranormal encounters or just fireside tales. Intro music by Uppbeat.

The Werewolf Fighter and the Ventriloquist in the Woods
Tonight we go into the woods of Kentucky where an amazingly brave dog faces off against what must have been one of the Michigan Dogman cryptids, but what the locals call a werewolf in a life or death battle to save his owner's life and protect what is his. Then we go out west and north a house near the woods where a family has a terrifying encounter with something in the trees which is mimicking the voices of their loved ones in an attempt to lure them into the depths of the forest, and when that fails, the monstrous creature begins to lay siege to their home. Camélia Belle Fleur
Tonight we head down to Cajun country into the depths of the deep, dark bayou and discover something truly terrifying that has inhabited an island in the swamps for over a century waiting for a hapless group of rebellious teens to come and be its prey. Something that would not die, even when hurricane Katrina was thrown at it. If you have an app that shows not just the show logo, but individual episode images, you can see René's image of Camélia Belle Fleur. I know it is available on the Spotify app. Intro music provided by the following: Music from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!): https://uppbeat.io/t/ak/mystic-forests Website: https://peachesnpines.wixsite.com/peaches-and-pines-pa

Confederate Ghost and Alabama Skookum
Welcome to the inaugural episode of Peaches and Pines Paranormal. Tonight we hear two stories of paranormal encounters from the South. In the first story a man is disrespectful toward Confederate Soldiers and pays the price for it as one of the Confederate soldiers decides to teach him a painful lesson. Our second story comes from the mountains of northern Alabama as a young kind in the 1950's recounts how his aunt and uncle were besieged one night by something they did not understand. It was a hair raising night of terror in the backwoods at a homestead with no electricity in a time when phones were not widely available. This tale actually (names changed) but comes from my own family, and represents a skookum encounter before Bigfoot was even known in the South.
