Showing up in a Blended Family
Blending families is messy. Blending any type of families is going to be a practice of patience and love. You have to be prepared for anything. If you don't have a game plan or an open line of communication with the person you're going to do life with then you live in a state of reaction instead of proaction. I say all the time if you're not proactive then your reactive. THIS IS NOT A PLAN. And will almost always go wrong.Tough times are coming, be prepared and know that this too shall pass!! Find you a community of friends and support (therapy, besties, etc) it really takes village, not just to raise kids but to get through life. Love y'all.
